Sorry for any mistakes.. I've been trying to write this chapter for three days now, but it's been tough with all the chaos in my house. Suddenly, every living- breathing organisms here needs me, and I'm feeling surprisingly popular! 🙄

"Go home!!" Taehyung said firmly to Jungkook, standing in front of him with folded hands ,his tone filled with concern.

"Sleep in a proper bed and please eat something good!" he pleaded with Jungkook for what felt like the umpteenth time that day. Jin had still been in the hospital, recovering from the trauma and Jungkook stubbornly refused to leave, despite Jin's refusal to speak with him or even look at him.

Jungkook had been sitting outside Jin's room like a man possessed, clinging onto the hope that Jin might reach out to him sometime..and he did want to miss out on that..but it never happened. He hadn't slept or showered in few days and was barely eating anything.

Taehyung and everyone else could sense the tension in the air, understanding the gravity of the situation . Even though it was unfair to Jung kook considering how much of a loving partner he was to Jin throughout the pregnancy but they still couldn't blame Jin, because of how shaken up and fragile his mental state was after the incident. His doctors had advised him to seek professional help and therapy for his recovery, both physical and emotional.

"Kook, he is not talking to anyone!!"Taehyung tried to ease Jungkook's pain, hoping to bring some comfort.

Jungkook snorted and shook his head, a tight-lipped smile masking the pain he felt inside. "No, he is  not talking to me!! Just me!!" he corrected, his voice tinged with sorrow.

Taehyung sighed and sat down beside Jungkook, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "JK, I know he is being unfair to you, but please give him time. He was already going through a hard time and everything that happened has only added to that. I can't even imagine the pain he is going through..."

Jungkook shook his head interrupting him "I can see it... He is my boyfriend Tae..!! I know it's not been that long..and I know don't have a big old love story to tell...but I loved that man with my everything and I still do...I see right through him..I know he hasn't even cried yet!! And it scares me!!" Jungkook admitted, his voice trembling with emotion.

Taehyung felt his eyes tearing up suddenly, overcome by a rush of emotions. Despite the messiness of the situation, he was beginning to think that his brother had finally found his happiness. Even though Jin had struggled, Taehyung could sense the genuine joy and contentment Jin had experienced while being pregnant and being with Jungkook. It was heartbreaking for him to realise how everything could get destroyed in a matter of seconds. He sniffled, trying to keep his tears at bay"Just go home and unwind... go back to work or whatever is needed to distract yourself!!" Taehyung suggested gently. "I'll send Jimin to keep you company if you want to stay in... just move away from this space. He will talk to you!! It's you and him!! You have been to hell and back together..you will survive this too!! I'm sure once he starts talking to a professional, he will get better... or maybe even before that." He tried to reassure him

Jungkook reluctantly made his way back home after talking to Taehyung . A heavy sense of emptiness weighed on his heart in the absence of Jin. He knew that without Jin by his side, their apartment wouldn't feel like home anymore. But he also understood that he needed to confront the reality ... he had to move all the baby items from the apartment to avoid triggering Jin upon his return. But the thought of this task brought back memories of his son once again , intensifying the pain of his loss .
