"What are you looking at?"
"You look gorgeous," Jungkook answered, his eyes fixed on Jin. He couldn't take his eyes off Jin that day.Jungkook didn't think the elder could possibly look anymore attractive, but Jin was a total vision, in his perfectly fitted all black suit , all dolled up.
"Pff! I always look gorgeous. What's so special about it?" Jin said, smirking.
Jungkook sighed. "Jin, stop being sassy for once and accept a compliment, please."
"Whatever... I can't believe you don't know how to wear a tie, Jeon. It's so embarrassing," Jin said, adjusting Jungkook's tie in the car outside Jin's parents' family home. It was the day of the big engagement party for Taehyung and Jimin. It took a lot of convincing to let Jin buy him a suit, since their 'renting a suit' plan went to drain and Jin forbade Jungkook from going anywhere near the shop or the assistant or even any rental shops. While Jungkook knew it was a ridiculous ask he loved seeing Jin's possessiveness towards him.
"You seem worried!," Jungkook asked as he noticed Jin lost in thought while he fixed his tie.
Jin sighed and leaned back. "Yes, as of now everyone knows I broke up with Yoongi. My mom made sure the whole world knows. So, she can execute her perfect plan of me marrying that attorney. Taehyung called me last night and gave me an earful about it. Everyone expected me to marry Yoongi, I think. I mean..he was a good man."
"Sorry, baby. I know I played a part in this, unintentionally," Jungkook said feeling guilty of everything, eventhough not intentionally he had a hand in putting Jin to this situation
"Stop it! No one is responsible for anything, we did what we did because we both wanted it and it was unfair to Yoongi to keep him in the dark..," Jin said, exhaling. "Anyway, you look amazing, Jeon, you clean up nice.." Jin complimented Jungkook.
"This is suffocating. Why do people wear this again?" Jungkook asked, clearly irritated by the layers of clothing.
Jin laughed. "Let's go before my mom comes looking for me." He said taking a final look in the car mirror fixing his hair.
Jungkook nodded, itching to ask a question he had been meaning to ask but hesitated, given Jimin's advice. "So... it's not my place to say anything, but... this guy, that attorney. Are you really going to marry him?"
Jin looked at Jungkook with sad eyes. "I don't know what my mom is planning. Taehyung said he would talk her out of it, but I do have to meet him. That man is a psycho. As far as I heard, he's a ridiculous man with zero morals and some strange beliefs."
"What will you do?Run away!" Jungkook winked.
"I wish it were that easy," Jin chuckled.
"Taehyung lives life on his terms. !!" Jungkook said, he had never seen Taehyung agreeing to anything he didn't like with his parents , he never hesitated to speak his mind unlike Seokjin.
"Someone had to be on the 'bombing zone,' he gets his way, and I fulfill their dreams. It's not Taehyung's fault, and I'm proud of him. He lived his life to the fullest, met an amazing man and is getting married . It's all so great. But I don't think I'll ever have the nerve to go against my parents, especially my mom. I guess this is my life now!" Jin said shrugging .
The moment was interrupted by Jin's phone ringing. "Shit, it's my mom. Let's go!!," Jin said, hurrying out of the car.
