Black Hole:

"Black Hole?"

I look up, seeing Tree staring down at me. "Huh? Y-yeah?- What's up?"

They crouch down in front of me, "You okay? It's still kind of early. Why're you up?" They ask, looking me in the eyes. "Oh- I could not sleep...sorry...did I wake you up?" I ask, getting up slowly. I stumble a bit, catching myself on the counter.

"You okay?" They ask, helping me regain my balance. "Y-yes...just kind of tired still..." I mutter, they nod. "Where is Remote?" I ask, looking around the bathroom. "She left already, said something about wanting to sleep in her own bed or something."

I nod, crouching down a bit. "What time is it?" They pull out their phone, "3:27 am"

"We did not sleep all that long..." I realize, they do the shoulder movement again.

"You sure you're okay? You seem kind of jumpy..." They place their hand on my shoulder, that warm feeling spreads across my face again. "I-I am fine...thank you for worrying about me..."

"How about we go somewhere? It's nice to not be cramped up in a small place when your feeling down. At least, I like it that way." They suggest, leading me out of the bathroom. I think of their offer, I am going to live here from now on...so I suppose I should get acquainted with my surroundings.

"S-sure..." I stutter, you idiot Black hole...

They smile, holding my hand as we walk to their car. I step into the vehicle, getting comfortable. "It's gonna be a long ride, " They say, pulling out of the driveway. They begin to play some music, It was nice.

"What sing is this...?" I ask, curious. They smile, "Isle unto thyself, it's a favorite of mine." They smile, they seem so happy...

I wish I could make them happy.

I watch out the window, seeing as the landscape rushes past me. It was calming, it was as if I was floating through space again...humming a tune.

The drive was fairly short, I think. I am not that great at the perception of time. We get out of the car, I look around.

It was stunning.

We were on a cliff like plateau, that's why it must have taken so long. I watched as the sun peaked over the horizon. Staring at me, as I stared at it. "It's beautiful isn't it?" They ask, standing next to me.

I nod, "Yes...it is..." I smile, sitting down. They sit next to me, leaning against my shoulder. I sigh, feeling at peace. All of my worries melting away. "Thank you for bringing me here..." I say, pulling my knees into my chest.

"No problem...my mother would take me here when I was upset...I thought it would work for you..." They smile, hugging me close. I grin, "Well...it does...thank you."

We sit in silence, enjoying each others company. I would love to make them happy as well, I would want nothing more.

"I always dreamed of flying across this place...it was so beautiful...I just wished I could do that now." They chuckle, giving me a small side hug. I nod, I mean...I wish I could do that.

Oh wait, I can.

"Want me to fulfil that dream?" I ask, they stare at me as if I am crazy. "What do you mean?"

I chuckle a bit awkwardly, "I- can fly you around if you would like?" Their eyes widen, "R-really? Well...sure...just don't drop me."

I smile, getting up. I focus and unravel my wings, turning back to them. Their face is kind of red, are they okay? "Are you okay Tree?" I ask, placing my hand on their forehead. Checking for signs of sickness. That's what my parents did with my siblings.
