Black Hole P.O.V:

My hands shake violently as Tree explains how I'm not a bad person.

It's hard to believe them as they speak, even I'm not convinced. I stare as Flower's face as it morphs from anger, to concern, to I don't really know.

"So...he's not going to hurt you...?" They ask, crossing their arms. Tree nods, "Yup, not gonna hurt me."

Flower eyes them suspiciously, "Okay..."

I continue to fidget with my hands as Tree calms me down. I feel Flowers eyes staring at me, it freaks me out to be honest.

Flower continues to chat with Tree, still sort of glaring at me. I feel my breath quicken ever so slightly, my vision blurring.

Tree reaches out and rubs my back, I suck in a large breath, shaking still. Flower seems to notice, softening their tone of voice. "Hey, how'd you guys meet anyways?" They ask, leaning back in their chair. The distant sounds of Leafy and the kids playing fill my ears as Tree explains. Well, lies, I suppose.

"Oh...well that's sweet," they smile, folding their arms. I shakily nod, forcing a smile.

"Honey...you alright?" Tree asks, gripping my hand. I attempt to say something, catching my breath slightly.

"Y-yeah...j-just a bit warm..." I lie, forcing a smile. They nod, knowing what I mean as they wrap their arms around me. I shake, pulling my tail around them in return.

"I'll leave you two alone for a bit," Flower states, getting up. Tree nods, waving her goodbye.

"You sure you're alright sweetie? You seem...distressed," they say, letting me hide in their arms.

"Y-yeah...just...nervous, I suppose." I mutter, leaning into their chest. They give a subtle nod, "How come?"

"W-well I'm just afraid your family won't like me...very much..." I admit, sighing in defeat. "Why wouldn't they like you?"

"I-I mean...y'know, y-you told me. Your old partner wasn't....the kindest..." I say softly, squeezing them tightly. They nod, patting my hair. "I get it, it'll be okay...I know you're not like him."

I smile, holding them close.

"I love you, Tree."

"Love you too, Black Hole."

Leafy P.O.V:

I mess around with the kids for a bit, they talk and talk about whatever small children talk about. It was refreshing, seeing them be kids.

"Hey Leafy!"

I turn my head up to see Flower, I smile. "Hey Flowey! How've you been?" She shrugs, sitting besides me on the sofa. "Pretty good, my fashion business has been holding up well!"

"That's great to hear!" I respond, patting her on the back. Grassy looks up at his playing and smiles widely, "Hi auntie Flowey!" He smiles, continuing to play.

"Hey Grassy! And Cherry Jr. I presume!" The kid looks kind of surprised, "How'd you know my name?"

Flower laughs a bit, "Your dads told me," she explains, the kid nods, continuing to mess around with Grassy. I glance around a bit, "Hey, where'd Basketball and Robot Flower go?"

"They left a bit ago, you were to busy with the kids." She explains, ohhhhhhhh. I rub the back of my head sheepishly, "Riiigghttt..."

We continue to chat about mindless things, I occasionally ask the kids if they need anything. They tell me they're okay.

"Man...Tree and...his uh...boyfriend sure have been...alone together for quite sometime now," I say after a long stretch of silence. Flower sighs, "I guess, but he doesn't seem all that bad. They kind of just seem shy, maybe that's why they've been quiet." She suggests.

"I dunno...he just seems...off putting to me? I feel like there's something Tree's not telling us." I sigh, wondering aloud. The kids far to engrossed in their playtime.

"Dude, you have to stop over thinking things, if there is something going on, it's clearly not hurting Tree. So that's their problem to deal with." Flower says, leaning back into the couch. I huff, crossing my arms.

"I guess...what if he gets hurt again though?" I mutter, giving Flower a solemn look. She sighs, wrapping her arm around me, "Listen, if he does turn out to be a dickhead, you have full permission to beat his ass."

"Really!?" I ask, my eyes lighting up. She shakes her head and smiles, "Really, I can say that because I know for a fact that he's not a dickhead."

"Awww...come on..." I sulk, Flower pats my back, "You need to talk to your therapist about your behavior recently." She says, rolling her eyes at me.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." I smile, giving her a light punch on the arm. She chuckles, rolling her eyes at me.

"What the hell are you guys doing?"

We both look up to see Tree standing in the door way with Black Hole next to him. I wave slightly, "Just talking." Flower states.

Tree gives us a suspicious look, "...okay?"

Black Hole looms over Tree, kind of freaky if you ask me...I mean, have you ever met anyone that tall? He's like an Enderman! What the heck? Plus, his eye color isn't the most common either, ever met anyone with bright purple eyes? Probably not! AND HE HAS A TAIL? I mean, sure, some people do...but with everything else...?

Somethings defiantly up with this guy, and I am going to find out eventually. I will, that's a promise.

"What time is it? Grassy wants to know!" Grassy shouts, raising his arms in the air. Tree checks his watch, "Basically three...you guys should head out soon."

Flower shrugs, standing up and stretching. "Well, since Basketball already left I guess I'm takin' you two home. C'mon, get in the car." Flower says, motioning for us to get up. "M'kay, bye bye Tree!" I say, giving him a quick hug.

"See you guys later," he smiles, hugging me back. Grassy hugs his legs quickly before overtalking me in speed.

"Bye bye new friend!" He calls out as he clambers into Flowers car. "Bye Bye Grassy!" The kid calls back, waving at him.

That was nice...I missed Tree, it's been so long since we've seen him. I'm glad we were still able to connect and chat like we used to.
