✨Chapter 63 - lonely departing after us

*A week or so after the last chapter :D*

Tree P.O.V:

I feel like he just keeps getting worse...

I'm worried for him...

When Jr. yelled, he had a panic attack. When the neighbors were mowing their lawn, he had a panic attack. When the smoke detector went off (because someone decided to try and start a fire in our living room *Cough cough* PILLOW *Cough cough*), he had a panic attack.

Any loud noise triggers them, but even then. I feel as if their hearing has gotten worse, well on the left side of their head at least.

I was standing right next to them! And they didn't even hear what I was saying...

I didn't want to have to do this, it was a last resort...

But I think it's finally time...

Black Hole P.O.V:

Tree left for something. I'm not sure what but he said he'd be back soon...

CJ and I have just been watching Lego Ninjago while Tree is gone. It's entertaining...but also kind of strange. Entertaining nonetheless though.

"Where did dad go?" Cherry Jr. asks after a few minutes of silence between us. I pause for a moment, thinking of what to tell him.

"He said he'd be back...I'm not sure why he left though." I say flatly, not taking my eyes off the screen. They nod slowly, leaning back into the couch.

"Okay..." He whispers softly. "How do you like the show?"

"It's fun, I can see why you love it now." I smile, looking over to them. They grin back, swinging their legs around happily. "I think you'll like season 4!" He exclaims, falling over to lay over my legs.

"I can't wait to get there..." I chuckle, running a hand through his hair gently.

*Ding!*

"That must be him!" I smile, going to stand up.

OW MY HEAD-

I sit back down quickly, "Y-yeah...not a good idea..." I groan.

"I'll get it." Jr. says, hopping down from the couch quickly

I sit quietly, clutching my throbbing head. It's what I get for being stupid I guess...The quiet stretches on for a lot longer than I though it would. It's weird.

What if something happened?

What could happen? He's been gone for like a minute. So shut up voice in my head!

Rude.

Just stop overthinking it! I tell myself as I lay my head in my hands. You're okay...It's fine...

"Black Hole?"

"ACK-" I shout, shielding my face from the sudden sound. "Please don't hurt me..."

"Babe...it's just me..." The voice says again. I wearily look over to them, "T-Tree...?" I ask quietly. He smiles, "Yes Black Hole, just me."

I sigh, wrapping my arms around them. "Y-you scared me...I didn't hear you..." They kiss my neck, hugging me back. "It's okay, you're safe. Nothing and no one is going to hurt you."
