Cherry Jr. P.O.V:

Gaty leads me through the school, pointing out random things along the way.

"That's the library, yeah the sign is spelt wrong...Building A...Building C, we're in Building B right now." They explain, pointing with her prosthetics. I just nod and follow along, wearily looking around.

"Here's your classroom," They say after a bit, knocking on the door before entering.

A bunch of tables are all around the room, all eyes are on the two of us...it's kind of scary. I slip behind Gaty, not wanting to be at the center of attention much longer.

"Ah Gaty! You have our new student I see!" A voice calls from in front of Gaty, "Yup! Introduce yourself bud."

She looks over, I give her an anxious look back. "Okay..." I whisper softly. She smiles, letting me stand in front of her.

"Uhm...H-Hello...my names Cherry Jr.-"

"CHERRY JR!" A small flame shouts out. I flinch for a moment, before realizing it's Firey Jr!

"Oh! Hi Firey Jr!"  I smile back, waving a bit. "Oh! You two know each other?" Gaty asks, looking at Firey Jr.

"Yeah! My moms cousins with his dad!" Firey Jr. smiles, I nod. "Well...one of my dads." I whisper, don't think anyone heard me...fine by me.

"Well how about you sit down?" Gaty asks, "Oh- Yeah."

"Can he sit next to me?" Firey Jr. asks, the teacher person nods. "Yay!!" He yells again, running up and grabbing my hand to drag me over.

"Don't hurt him FJ." The teacher chuckles, Firey Jr sits me down and smiles. "Sorry Mr. Two...."

"It's fine," they smile, "Just be careful m'kay bud?" Mr. Two says, turning to the whiteboard.

I sit still in my seat, though I do bounce my leg a bit. I feel a pair of eyes glaring at me...they must not like me very much...

Mr. Two keeps talking, drawing stuff on the board for us to follow along with. I think I get it...?

Maybe. Who knows...

This will be interesting...

Black Hole P.O.V:

Tree holds my hand tightly as we head into their flower shop. They've been helping me get a...sort of job...helping the around their shop and all.

It's stuff to keep us busy now that Jr.'s in school I guess...

"Here." Tree says, handing me something.

"What's this?" I ask, examining the object in my hands. "It's a calculator," Tree smiles. "It's a calculator, it'll help you with what I need you to do."

I nod, pressing the little buttons on the thingy. "It makes funny noises." I mutter as I click around on the device. Tree snickers, grabbing my hand again. I keep clicking on the little buttons...it's really fun...and the little numbers...

"Babe, just stand right there okay?" Tree says, grabbing my shoulders and moving me in a spot. "What do I do?" I ask, looking over the little counter. "Just tell me when people walk in okay? Here, you can have these." They say, grabbing my headphones out of their bag. I smile, "Thanks..."

"Of course, I'm gonna go and get some stuff done, just call if you need anything." They grin, giving me a kiss. I smile, waving them away as they go do their thing. I keep fiddling with the little calculator thing, pressing the little buttons was surprisingly entertaining.

Maybe I should be watching the door for people to come in...but Tree did say I just had to wait. Oh well, the calculator is more fun anyways.

"Um...hello?"

I look up, taking off my headphones. "Oh! H-hello! One moment please." I smile, setting the calculator on the table.

"Tree someone is here!!" I call out, Tree pops their head out around the corner. "M'kay, I'm coming."

"Welcome to the shop! What can I do for you?" Tree asks, the person smiles. "Just looking for some flowers.

"Sure, look around if you'd like!"

The person walks away, venturing into the shop. I continue to mess around with the calculator, my tail swinging around behind me. "You doin' alright?" Tree asks, looking at my activities.

"Yup, you okay?" I ask, focusing more on them than my little games. They nod, giving me another little kiss. "Thanks for helping..."

"Of course!" I smile, giving them a quick little hug. They chuckle, squeezing my hands. They let go, smiling widely.

The guy that came in earlier comes back, holding a bunch of plants. "Is that all?" Tree asks, helping them place their stuff on the counter. They nod, "Yup!"

"Alright that will be..." Tree begins, grabbing the calculator off the counter. "$27.63"

Ohhhh...so that's what the calculators for.

"Okay!" The person says, handing them a bunch of bills and a few coins. "Would you like a name for that?" Tree asks, handing them their flowers and plants.

"Just Bomby please!" The person smiles. Tree takes out a piece of paper and scribbles their name on it. "Thank you!" Tree smiles, placing the piece of paper back in the desk.

The person walks out, I let out a sigh of relief. "You sure you're okay love?" I nod, "Y'know, just...not the biggest fan of people?" I chuckle, going back to playing with the calculator.

"Yeah, I know." they sigh, leaning on my shoulder.

The day continues, a few more people come in and go. I remember their names...Scenty...Clover...Bone...

The day flies by, soon, Tree is leading me out of the shop. I still have the calculator, wanting to play with it a bit more.

"So, what did you think of helping me out?" Tree asks, driving to Jr.'s school. I smile, pressing the little buttons some more. "It was fun, I like this thing." I smile, showing them the calculator. They chuckle, turning at a corner. "I couldn't tell."

"Heyyy...was that sarcasm?" I ask, the roll the eyes. "No."

I laugh a bit, Tree does as well, shaking their head. "I'm kidding." They sigh once the laughter dies down. "I knoww..." I chuckle, leaning back in my seat.

"I love you..."

"I love you too you idiot."
