*1-2 Weeks after Act 2 :D*

Third person P.O.V:

Slowly, very slowly.

That's how Tree liked things done, slowly. A project, an order in his shop, whatever. Slow and steady wins the race, that was his motto. Always has been.

But, when he met Black Hole...things began to change.

He was more open to letting things speed by quickly, like cars in the early morning on the highway. Letting the flow of the activity cleanse his mind, partner by his side.

His partner, oh his wonderful partner.

Black Hole was so gentle, so kind and patient. The way he silently begins helping Tree with washing dishes, or folding laundry. The way they quietly sweep around the house in order to not disturb a napping Cherry Jr. The gentle way he holds Juno in his shaky hands, as if he pressed to hard she would crumble into dust.

Being an intergalactic star destroyer would do that to you...he supposed.

Like now, where Black Hole tries his best to silently tip toe around the house. Putting things like loose plates away into the, incorrect, drawers and cabinets. Tree smiles to himself, fake asleep on the couch.

Tree was never able to sleep well, he had gotten that from his mother. So here he was, pretending to nap while intently listening for the sounds around him. Mainly, any that Black Hole was producing. The occasional clang or bonk was heard, but nothing that concerned him to much.

Despite being gentle, Black Hole was far too clumsy for this fragile planet. Too tall for doorways, too unusual for casual dinner dates, too quiet for a concert.

But that was what was so endearing.

The way that even with these, he'd managed to fit in. In their own little group of misfits that is their family. As well as Death P.A.C.T, they'd always get along with Pen and Remote. Happily engaging in mindless small talk.

Even now, being an unknown and possibly very dangerous space entity, they do simple things. Like putting away dishes.

*CRASH*

A loud purr rings out following the sound. "Crap!" A hushed voice mutters, footsteps echoing throughout the house.

Okay, maybe now it was the time to check on them.

Tree wills open his eyes, sighing as they rub them tiredly. What did they do this time?

"Babe...what did you do?" Tree asks, eyes baggy despite not even sleeping. Black Hole gives an awkward smile, silently gesturing towards the shattered plate on the ground.

"S-sorry...I was trying to put them away. I didn't mean to wake you up." Black Hole explains quickly, crouching down to pick up the shattered pieces of porcelain. Blood slowly blossoming from small cuts that the plate caused, like roses blooming in the spring.

Tree crouches down next to them, yanking their hand away from the sharp pottery. "Honey- Don't do that...you're bleeding."

Juno purrs quietly, rubbing her head against Black Hole's back. "Sorry..." They whisper, continuing to gather the shards, despite Tree's warnings.

"Don't. Do that..." He says sternly, grabbing both of Black Hole's hands this time, stopping them from cutting their hands anymore. "...and don't apologize. You were just trying to help, it's okay."

Black Hole's stubbornness shines through, looking away and huffing quietly. "At least let me clean it up...I broke it..."

"I well let you clean it up, and I will help you. Just don't do it with your bare hands, you're hurting yourself."  Tree grumbles, carefully plucking out the small shards in Black Hole's skin. They scoff in return, "I've been through much worse Tree. This is nothing, I'm okay." pulling their hands away quickly.
