The world of Serena and Nikolai has now been in peace, and all is back to normal. Since arriving to the Academy, Serena felt like this was going to be a fresh start. For once, it's all as if nothing got in her way. Nikolai at her side, she was an unstoppable force.

They were now on his bed, while many of the students were attending the Full Moon Fest.

"I missed you so much." Nikolai kissed up her body while she moaned faintly.

"I missed you too."

Their bodies collided and created a force so magnetic that words could barely come out of their months. This time, their love had an unfamiliar, but welcomed tang of sweetness. As they poured each into other with moves of adoration and pleasure.

The stars set up a very dim lighting, which was shown through the window. In the near darkness, two candles were lit up right by Nikolai's bed.

As they kissed and loved each other with the feelings of each other buried into them, it was now nearly impossible to deny that either of them could've possibly hated the other. Deep down, they loved each other, even more than one would expect.

"I never thought that I would meet somebody like you." Serena said breathlessly.

"I never thought that you'd be my dream come true."

"It feels like I put you through everything, and yet you still stay with me."

"There's nothing more in the world that I love than being with you."

Serena chuckled.

"And I never thought that you would get like this. I always thought that you would be so cold, calm, collected. Yet, you're not. You have emotions, you have devotion. I guess we both have sides of the other that we never showed to anybody but someone special."

"It takes a lot to get it out of me. But you get it out so easily that I have to contain myself in order to hide the side of me."

"You shouldn't. I think that if you show your true self, then people would not be afraid of you."

"In due time, but for now, I have duties that I must attend to. I will always have this side in me. Just....."

"Just what?"

"It's a force so powerful that it would terrify you if i let it all out at once."

"But..."

Before Serena could finish her sentence, Nikolai gently kissed her lips.

"Enough about me. It's all about you tonight."

Serena giggled. "Then I'll be selfish tonight."

She pulled herself into him and their bodies burned ablaze. Going into the other felt like a rush of water, cool and refreshing. Their lips were locked and their arms were surrounding the other's bodies, perfectly tracing their silhouettes.

Nikolai carefully untied Serena's corset on her dress and Serena took off Nikolai's shirt. Their bodies came closer to each other as their kisses turned ravenous, as if they were both hungry for each other, and the only thing that could quench their thirst was the other.

Serena was now on Nikolai's lap and his hands rode down her thighs. He squeezed her thighs in a manner that only those who are turned on to the max would desire. When they looked into each other's eyes, there was a fire that burned brighter than any winter holiday could surpass.

God, it felt so good.

They stripped the other down until no clothes were in the way. Despite the lack of clothing, the heat between them maintained.

Soon, they dived underneath the sheets and found themselves in another dimension of love. A blanket surrounded them and any adventure could be made possible.

"You can be more aggressive with me." Serena said.

Nikolai shook his head.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because, you've been through too much in the time we've been together. I don't wanna put a strain on your body."

"I love this feeling, though, we can go more."

"Goodness."

"What?"

"You seem like the type of girl that would want to ride on the most choppy waves and still go out on another boat ride."

"Well, I do love adventure. And I especially love danger."

"Oh, I know you do. In life, though, sometimes you have to appreciate the sweetness that comes your way."

"I'm just learning it though. With the best mentor I could ever ask for."

"Being with you is enough to make me happy for the rest of my life."

"Let me top that. You make me of many lifetimes beam with happiness, no matter what."

" Serena, I would give the worlds, amazing asteroids, and cosmos, and the sun and the seasons, and every power to you. That's how much you mean to me if you want something, I will make it happen for you no matter if you say, if it's absurd or risky. For you, I'll do anything."

"And I will give you the moon and heaven, all the power of the world above. Although, you're with an angel already. That should make you the happiest man in the world."

"Yes, you did. You gave me more happiness in these three months and ever in my life. I want to thank you so so much."

"Most importantly, though, thank you for teaching me how to be a mortal. I know you haven't taught me much though yet. I would love to learn with you anything everything tell me everything about you and I'll tell you everything about me."

"We can talk until we both fall asleep. Think of it as a bedtime story."

"Do you know how much I love my bedtime stories. Do you want me to go first?"

"Of course, my sweet angel. To hear your voice is like a beautiful melody being sung in my ear. The song that I go back to again and again, no matter what kind of mood I'm in."

Serena giggled and they both laid next to each other.

That night, they told each other stories of happiness, moments of their life that made them who they were. For hours, they talked until Serena fell asleep. When she dozed off, Nikolai kissed her forehead and tucked her in.

"Sweet dreams, my beloved."

Then he realized.

"Beloved? Yes, my beloved.
