7 - Cat & Mouse 2.0

Denny and Suzanne were here, and I had to stay hidden. Even though I was supposed to be hidden I stood out of sight at the top of the stairs when Lloyd showed Denny "my location". I heard how mad he got, and it scared me. He was going to find me, and I was dead, I knew I was a sitting duck.

I rushed back to my room and shut the door quietly. I knew Lloyd told me to explore but I didn't want to take a chance. I decided to sit on my bed and read for a while but then I looked at my closet.

When I arrived Lloyd got someone to go out shopping for me and fill the walk-in closet to the max and I had no clue what he even bought for me. As I was looking through everything, I got to all the shoes and a lot of heels, I hated heels and I had been using the same pair of flats every day since I got here, this would be why. I pulled a couple outfits from the rack and shook my head. Lloyd didn't know me at all...I needed to see if I could get someone to take me shopping. I kept looking and I noticed something was off about the back wall. I walked up to it and tapped the top corner and the door sprung open.

"What the fuck?" I asked looking into the tunnel...is this what I think it is? Secret passage. I walked out of my closet and opened the bedroom door to see a guard walking down the hall. "Do you have a flashlight?" I asked and he nodded handing me the one off of his belt. "Thanks." I said with a smile and walked back into my room and rushed to what I had just found.

After walked this passage for a while I found it walked through the whole castle. I was able to get outside to the hedge maze, I was able to get downstairs, I quickly and quietly shut that door when I heard Denny talking to Lloyd about me in that room I entered.

I finished walked the passage and I found out I ended up in Lloyd room, I smiled as I walked in. It was pristine, perfect...too fucking perfect. Did he even sleep in here? I walked around his room for a minute and looked at things. He had an impressive collection of books next to his drink cart full of whiskeys, what man needed this much whiskey? I would never know.

I started to wonder if Lloyd knew about this passage and if not this could be fun for me. I saw a piece of paper sitting on his small table in his room. I grabbed it with a pen and wrote Lloyd a small note. Back to the Harvard days we go. I laid the note on his bed and walked back to the passage, closing the door and it was time to play a game.

**LLOYD POV**

-Let's play a fun game of cat and mouse, we always had fun with those. Come and find me Shnookums.

Oh, she wanted to play, did she? Then it was time, just like Harvard. Only this time she wasn't going to beat me, I couldn't let her beat me. I went to leave the bedroom but then noticed something, she wrote the note on paper from my room, personal letterhead I had on the paper gave it away. She didn't come up with this game while in my room, so she had a plan. Then there was the case of her perfume, it didn't enter through the door of my room. I followed the scent, and it came from my closet.

"Cupcake...you hiding in my closet? I mean pretty common place to hide." I said and I moved everything in my closet and didn't see her. I was confused, the scent was in here, it lingered. I heard the wind whistling and I started looking to find the source I saw a doorway cracked open and I smiled.

"So, she found the passageway...before I even could...impressive." I walked to my bedside table and pulled out my small flashlight and walked back and opened the door, turning on my flashlight.

"CUPCAKE! You in here?!" I called out. This was going to be so easy, follow the perfume smell.

After searching for 20 minutes, it wasn't so easy, this passage went everywhere and her perfume scent was all over, she must have been searching this whole place while she was hidden.

"Alright Cupcake, come out..." I called out.

**MAVIS POV**

"Alright cupcake, come out...!" I heard Lloyd yell and I smiled.

He knew that wasn't how this game was played and he knew I only played by the rules. I sighed as I rounded a corner, and it was a dead end. When Lloyd called out, he was close and I knew backtracking could get me caught, I didn't want to get caught. I turned my flashlight off and felt along the wall as I walked quietly through another passage.

"Cupcake...I can sense you're close..." I heard Lloyd say and he was super close. I was trapped, I needed to get out of here.

Think Mavis...think...how would Harvard Mavis gotten out of this predicament...I needed an escape. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I had the layout of this tunnel now in my head. I needed to get back to my room, was it close. It was close but Lloyds room was closer.

I moved from the hallway I was in and started walking confidently down the hallway to get back to the room. I went to pass a hallway and I was grabbed around my waist. I knew it was Lloyd. He pulled my back to his chest. He kept me embolized even locking my legs in his.

"You got to confident cupcake, I found you." Lloyd whispered in my ear in a low, deep voice. It sent a shiver down my spine, but a good shiver...a shiver I shouldn't be feeling since I was still a married woman. I felt his nose run long my neck smelling. "You know this perfume is intoxicating but it always gave you away." Lloyd said. I then felt his lips and mustache skimming my neck. He gently kissed under my ear, moved down to my neck causing me to turn my head and moan at the feeling of him kissing my neck. He placed one final kiss on my pulse point and nipped at it as he removed his lips. Lloyd let me go with a quick kiss to my cheek and walked away.

"We are going to have so much fun cupcake, I can tell!" Lloyd said and started to walked out of the tunnels. I leaned against the stone wall unable to comprehend what just happened and to cool myself off as well.

What the fuck was Lloyd playing at now?
