Hyunjin PoV

My heart was racing and if I hadn't sent Seungmin out I might have passed out because of his beauty and the touches. When I finished showering and drying myself, I looked in the mirror and looked at my now blonde hair.

It was unusual but I liked it.

I saw Seungmin's glasses still at the sink and decided to take them with me after I changed.

My feet carried me out of the bathroom and I saw a picture hanging on the wall that I had never noticed before.

I looked at it.

A seven year old Seungmin was seen wearing a baseball jersey. He had a huge smile on his face and held up a signed baseball bat.

His father stood behind him and stroked the back of his head. A woman with Seungmin's eyes also stood behind him with a big grin on her face. A girl older than Seungmin had leaned forward on the side of the picture and was grinning and holding a thumbs up while her hair fell over her face.

They looked like a happy family.

Seungmin probably couldn't have imagined that things would be the way they turned out for him.

I slowly walked into the living room and said: "Minnie, are you or were you a baseball fan?" But with every word I said I became quieter when I saw that he had the entrance door open and was trying to send Minho away.

He sent me a cold look and a shiver ran down my spine. If looks could kill I would have died at that moment.

"What is he doing here?" He almost growled and Seungmin stood more in the doorway so that Minho couldn't come into the house. The latter crossed his arms over his chest and said, "We have to work on our English project."

The older one raised an eyebrow. "You recently told us that you had finally finished the English project. And why did he come out of the shower if he was only there to study? Seungmin, who do you think you can be kidding here?" Seungmin sighed and said, "It's complicated. Can I explain it another time? I'm tired."

"Why does he stay here and I have to go?" The person being addressed wanted to say something but I intervened: "My parents are on a business trip at the moment and I forgot my keys, which is why I asked Seungmin if I can stay here for the remaining three days that my parents are away."

I knew that Seungmin didn't want to tell Minho that I was staying here longer, which was why I came up with this lie. "But why do you have to stay with Seungmin?"

"He lives right across the street and if I went to my grandparents, I would need one and a half hour to get to school."

Minho rolled his eyes and roughly pushed Seungmin on the side to walk thorward to me. He grabbed my collar and looked at me with eyes that stabbed me. "I know you're just pretending to be nice, mister my knee hurts. You use everyone around you and drop them when you've had enough of them!" he said loudly so that my ears hurt.

"Why are you accusing me of such things?! You don't know me," I said just as loudly as he pushed me against the wall. The older growled: "But I know people who are like you!"

"Well I'm not like those people!"

I thought that maybe he started thinking about me a little differently than when I drew him. I was wrong.

"You should try to get your anger under control, Minho," I said a little deprecatingly and looked at him the same way he looked at me. He clenched his fist and I already squeezed my eyes shut to receive the punch. But when there was no impact after a short while, I opened my eyes and saw Seungmin holding him back.

"Stop this shit Minho! What's your problem with him?! He hasn't done anything to you, ever, why do you have such hatred towards him?!" the younger shouted at his best friend.

Seungmin pulled Minho off of me and turned him to look at him. "I'm just trying to protect you!" the eldest in the room shouted and the next moment Seungmin slapped him.

I was shocked, I didn't expect this. Seungmin slapping his best friend. Minho looked at him in shock and with wide eyes. The younger one yelled, "You're really a jerk sometimes, you know that?!"

When he wanted to say something, Seungmin interrupted him: "I can take care of myself Minho! I make my own decisions even if I regret them afterwards. I learn from them and can then do better. Just stop pretending that I am your little five year old brother you have to protect!"

"But-"

"No buts! Leave Hyunjin alone and go home." Minho sighed loudly, gave me another warning look and then stomped out of the house.

It was quiet. I could hear Seungmin breathing, hear the fridge working and all the other appliances. I looked at the younger one who had his back to me.

"I'm sorry," he said, running his hand through his freshly dyed and washed hair. "It's okay," I said as he turned to me and I could see how good he actually looked.

"Your hair looks good," we both said at the same time and I couldn't help but smile. I completely blocked out what had just happened.

Only Seungmin mattered to me now.

"Have you even looked at yours yet?" I asked and he shook his head. My hand reached for his and I pulled him to the nearest mirror. At first he just looked speechless in the mirror but then he looked at me with an astonished look. "It looks really good," he stated, looking into my eyes.

"I knew it would suit you," I said with a smile on my lips.

At this moment I wanted Seungmin to be mine even more than usual.
