Hyunjin PoV

The sound of the pencil pressing and moving against the paper of my new notebook was somewhat satisfying.

I was only at the beginning of the drawing but how it developed into something so quickly surprised me.

How two simple things like pen and paper could accomplish so much amazed me.

I was so engrossed in drawing that I almost didn't notice when the door was unlocked and Seungmin came in. I looked up and looked at him, but I could see in his eyes that he wasn't feeling very well at the moment.

"Is something going on?" When I asked that, he shook his head and whispered something like he was just exhausted from the day and needed some rest. But I knew it was more than that.

He wanted to go up to his room but I stopped him by saying, "Let's watch the sunset together."

The younger turned around and his eyes looked more relieved than before.

I closed my notebook and told him: "A few days ago I found out that you can easily climb onto the roof through a window here and from there you can see almost the whole town."

"You climbed on the roof?" He asked, shaking his head with a slight smile as I nodded.

"Come on, I'll show you how," I said with a smile on my lips and went up with him. Next to his room was a small hallway with a window at the end. I opened it and the fresh autumn air gave me goosebumps. I climbed out and stood on the windowsill.

"Do you get cold easily?" I asked and he shook his head, so I climbed completely out of the window and looked for somewhere to hold onto so I wouldn't fall down.

"Just do the same thing I do and I'll help you up." He watched me and then did the same.

The next moment I swung onto the roof and held out my hand to help him.

He took my hand and I gently pulled him up. I climbed further onto the roof so that he had more space and didn't have to sit on the edge where it looked like he would fall down.

We looked at the view, many houses, some trees that had dropped their orange leaves and the blue sky where the sun was already starting to set. The clouds varied in color from pink to yellow and orange. Which looked beautiful.

Our backs turned to my parents' house. I didn't want to see it.

My eyes wandered to Seungmin who was watching the sunset in amazement. His lower lip was slightly stuck out and it was as if he was sinking into the view.

"By the way, I found a part-time job so I can look for an apartment soon." When he looked at me, I looked into the distance again. "You can stay longer. I don't mind," he said and I had to smile.

When he looked away I looked at him again and admired his beauty. His eyes sparkled as he watched the sun slowly disappear and the stars appear. Everything about him was so beautiful. "The sky is really beautiful," he said quietly and I said, "Yes, beautiful."

I had no idea if the sky was beautiful but I knew that the person I was looking at looked a thousand times more beautiful. The younger one laughed and looked at me. "You're not even looking."
