Summary: Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, The Golden Guard, and Number Five wake up in a strange room, on the other side of which is them. Only from months in the future.

Luz sat up and looked around. She was currently in a large, plain room. Most of the walls looked normal but one looked like one of those collapsible walls.

A five other people were there too, in various stages of waking up. A few of them she recognized, one she didn't, and one was mostly hidden behind other people.

Luz racked her brain trying to think of the last thing she remembered.

She remembered going to bed after not getting Eda to talk about her family after the Covention.

Without any other explanation, she just shrugged and assumed it was a weird dream.

However, that became harder to believe when others started talking.

"So Luz," Gus began, "Question, are you real?"

"What? Yes. Of course. I mean. Why are you asking? This is a weird dream."

"Well unless we're all somehow dreaming together, I doubt that." Willow sighed.

"Human! What did you have to do with this?"

Luz turned around to explain to Amity that this wasn't her, but instead found she was yelling at someone who looked exactly like her.

"Well, one, this wasn't me. And two, that's not me."

Amity turned around and saw Luz, then began looking between her and the doppelgänger, her anger now mixing with confusion. The doppelgänger looked to be on the edge of a panic attack, but Luz was distracted by the sounds of someone gasping and mechanical noises.

She turned around and saw some person in a white cloak with a golden mask, and a staff in hand, looking ready to start attacking someone. Luz also noticed an Emperor's coven badge on his cloak.

"Where am I? What have you done to me?" He demanded.

"Well hello to you too. Now can someone please explain who that guy is and why there's two of me?"

"That is the Golden Guard, human." Amity scoffed, "Of course the Owl Lady wouldn't tell you about him. He's the Emperor's right hand man."

"Oh. I thought that was Lilith."

"Hah! Lilith Clawthorne being that close to Belos? She may be a coven head but she's not at that level by a long shot. She's nowhere near as good as me anyways with her failure to catch the owl lady. And, human, I think I might know how there's apparently two of you."

With a flick of his staff, the doppelgänger was suddenly tied up with and thrown into the wall. They struggled, hyperventilating, and gradually turned from looking just like Luz to some snake creature thing.

"Ah! Number 5. So glad I finally found you. Belos will be pleased to have you back."

"Again, really confused here."
