As if reading his thoughts, Chrollo spoke. "Don't worry, it happens to the best of us." He teased, but Kurapika stayed silent. "You know. Your little chains would have worked on any member of my troupe, but not me, though I will commend you, it was extremely difficult for me to do so, I almost doubted I could pull it off." Again Kurapika says nothing, just glares up at Chrollo who rolls his eyes at the boring response. "I did learn a thing or two while trapped though~." "Like what?" Kurapika spat out fast and sharp, only to immediately regret it when it brought out a sadistic smile from the man looking down on him. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Yes. I would." The two starred at each other, Kurapika wanting a response. It wasn't until he began to physically squirm that Chrollo gave him what he wanted. "You're special~" "Creep." Chrollo couldn't care less about childish name calling, and therefore didn't give Kurapika the response he was looking for. "Oh please you'll have to better then that. Also, I was talking about your nen type." Chrollo paused and pretending to think before looking back at Kurapika, "Though you, chain user, are very intriguing to say the least. Say. Why are you out for revenge?"

That question really pushed Kurapika to the edge, so much so that the contacts weren't doing him much good when it came to hiding his eyes.

Chrollo knew he had gotten under the chain users skin, the increase in heavy breathing was a dead give-away, though he was disappointed at the the lack of verbal response. That was until he the red shinning through what Chrollo now realized were contacts. He reached out with his free hand to remove them. Despite having no hands, the chain user made it a hard task to accomplish. Once he did, and the fight to accomplish his goal was over, Chrollo being the clear winner, he got to see them. The eyes of the last living member of the kurta clan. They were mesmerizing. He'd seen the ones who's owner was missing, when everything with the auction went down, but now, the color felt alive. He, as well as everyone else, was under the impression that it didn't matter if the clansmen was alive, but he is seeing living proof of that belief being wrong. The eyes he'd seen in suspended animation couldn't even compare to the color and depth he was currently starring into. Maybe he should the chain user just for this reason. Surely telling them that keeping him as a poorly treated possession for the rest of his life would be enough to convince them not to kill the chain user.

"Beautiful." Chrollo had let slip, to distracted by his thoughts to apply his filter. "DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT! THAT'S THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY RIGHT!" Chrollo didn't know why his slip up had caused such a big reaction, but he certainly wasn't complaining. In fact, he wanted to see it again.

Chrollo chuckled "I've never seen anyone so bad with compliments." Chrollo watched the several emotions morphing on the chain users face. Confusion, annoyance, and burning anger. "How dare you." Chain user said just audible enough for Chrollo to doubt if he heard right. Chrollo tilted his head telling him to go on. The chain user somehow looked even more angery and confused "do-. Do you really, not know?" Chrollo just shrugged, at which point the boy under him had very audibly started seething. He started, slow, low, and hesitant, resentment dripping with every word that was very clearing aimed at his audience. "My eyes." "Yes the eyes of the Kurta, though I had heard a rumor that they had all be wiped out, which makes me wonder why when you very clearly belong to the clan yourself."

"YOU HEARD A RUMOR?! DON'T YOU MEAN REPORT?! IT WAS THE PHANTOM TROUPE THAT WIPED THEM OUT WHILE I WAS AWAY FROM THE CLAN RESIDENCE! Everyone I care about it gone because of you people." The chain user spit out the last part with a very unnecessary amount of venom if you asked Chrollo. "I can get why you would be seeking revenge, but, and I hate to break it to you, I never gave any of my guys orders to kill the kurta clan." "You didn't?" It was very obvious that the chain user was still very upset, and clearly distrusting of of Chrollo's words, but had a hard time denying how sincere his words were.

"But I got there just as my friend was taking his last breath. He told me it was the phantom troupe that attacked, that they'd slaughtered everyone. If you didn't give the order, could they have done it on their own?" "It is a possibility, but they still would have reported it, it's not like I control what they do on their free time, I don't punish them for it either." Chrollo saw this comment irked the chain user based on its implications, did he care? Of course not.

"You keep starring." The chain user told him, bringing him out of his thoughts, clearly annoyed by the starring. "I know. I'm debating what I should do with you." "Huh?" The chain user was very clearly startled by this causing Chrollo to chuckle at him. "Well, I have a few options. I could just kill you right here, but that wouldn't be much fun. I could keep you for myself, make you my own little pet, have you follow me around everywhere. Or I could use my own nen on you, but then let you go. You'd still belong to me, but it's the option that provided you with the most freedom. The best part is, since I'm so indecisive right now, you get to pick!"

The enthusiasm scarred Kurapika, but he was also stuck in a far less then ideal situation. He hesitantly he spoke up. "-3" "What was that?" "Option 3. I chose option 3." Kurapika said avoiding Chrollo's gaze. A wide grin spread on Chrollo's face. "Perfect~, then let's get started!"
