"So, I've been meaning to ask," Machi started, "what the hell are you and two 12 year olds doing in an abandoned amusement park?" Hisoka gave her a downward side glance before fixing his gaze on Kiyotaka and softening his features slightly, "We brought them here to train their nen." "And why, pray tell, do two 12 year olds need to train their nen?" Machi asked, suspicious. "Relax babe. They are here in York New because they want to enter greed island. They need to pass the 'nen selection test' or whatever in order to be allowed by the person who bought the game from the auction to go into the game." "I see. That was their goal." Machi was suspicious still, but didn't feel like prying, it would be to much work, and she couldn't think much about work with two fluffy ears in her hands. "Machi." "Hisoka." "Never mind." Machi picked Kiyotaka up and set him down on the jesters lap. Then while stretching said, "I better get going. Report to the boss. Maybe ask if he's got anything new on his damsel in hiding." Hisoka chuckled and watched her disappear in the blink of an eye. "Things might just get interesting." He said to no one but himself.

Chrollo had successfully stolen the nen ability of the fortune teller he was after, and was now trying to get a glimpse into his own. He thought there might be a clue about the chain user, but the fortune was written in rhymes and riddles so he was having a hard time deciphering the meaning.  Though there was a phrase about the moon, he was almost certain it was a reference to love he'd heard about somewhere in passing. 'What has love got to do with anything?' he wondered, totally oblivious or consciously ignorant to the fact that it could mean him finding or falling in love. His thoughts began to spiral while trying to decipher his fortune, that is until Machi turned up and proved a useful distraction.

"Boss" Machi said, waiting to be told to speak. "What did you find?" Machi stood up straight to directly address Chrollo, "I found the two kids with there nannies at an abandoned amusement park practicing nen." Chrollo was silent letter her know she could continue, "I asked why they needed to work on their nen, turns out the kids were here trying to get into the game greed island. There is a nen test to see if you get to be allowed in the game by the person who bought it a few days ago." Chrollo found the information interesting but not ground breaking. That meant it had bored him. "Did you find anything on the chain user?" Machi smiled, "I might have something." This had Chrollo's attention. "That something might be...?" He asked trying and almost failing at sounding indifferent. "I was following up with the fortune teller you stole the nen ability from. Her dad, I believe it was, had hired a security detail. I snuck into his office because the chain user came around the same time as them, and thought I might be able to find more then we've found so far. He had some not very descriptive notes on their nen, but one of them is a chain user. The man hired them until the weekend after the auction was over. That's in two days."

Chrollo was very pleased with this information. As Machi stated, it was practically the first lead they had to finding the person who killed Uvogin. When they did, Chrollo planned to take his nen, then feed the nen-less meat sack to his pack of hungry wolves. "Well done. You're dismissed." "Thank you sir." With that Machi disappeared, and Chrollo was left to his riddles once again. He had a little more hope this time.

Back with Hisoka and Kiyotaka, it was almost sun set, and the boys hadn't stopped to go get lunch, which also means that the two glorified nannies also did not eat lunch. That being said the two parted from each other to go collect the boys for dinner. Hisoka decided that they would just stop at the market on the way home for him to pick up the needed ingredients for dinner. He wanted to make flash fried rice with a spicy tuna mix to put on top. He was currently undecided about what appetizers and sides he wanted to fix to go with it, but he was counting on creative inspiration once he could see the ingredients at the market.

Hisoka's cooking was amazing as the two younger boys had come to find out. It was all very domestic. That was until they heard an unexpected knock at the door. "Come in~" Hisoka hiding his surprise at who's aura he sensed. Kiyotaka was not surprised but curious at what was so important he had to drop by their place like an old friend. The two boys were in complete shock when it was Chrollo who walked through the door. "What are you doing here?!" Killua said slamming his hands down on the table, standing up aggressively, and pointing as he did. Gon still had a look of shock, but everybody else had a deadpanned look at Killua's outburst so he went quiet and sat down, waiting to see what Chrollo wanted.

"Do you want to join us for dinner?" Kiyotaka asked, extending the invitation Chrollo. He silently took a seat and Kiyotaka got him a plate, which Chrollo happily filled with the various foods spread on the table. Before he began eating he handed a sheet of paper over to Hisoka. "I hate to admit you're good at anything, but you do seem to have a way with words." "And what do you need my way with words for ha~?" "That paper contains a fortune given to me through a nen ability, unfortunately, as I said, I can't seem to make much of it. Know what you need to do now?" Hisoka gave a sly smile, "I do." Hisoka began to decipher while Chrollo enjoyed his cooking. The table knew Hisoka had solved the little riddles when he began to lightly chuckle. "I never thought the big bad boss was capable of obtaining a lover." "So I was right about the moon phrase." Chrollo not quite believing it, despite the validity of the nen ability. "Oh ho ho, what an interesting lover you'll have!" This caused Chrollo's head to snap up to Hisoka "You know who it is?" Hisoka gave a taunting style "The chain user." "What." Chrollo stoped chewing left in a state of shock.
