The enthusiasm scarred Kurapika, but he was also stuck in a far less then ideal situation. He hesitantly he spoke up. "-3" "What was that?" "Option 3. I chose option 3." Kurapika said avoiding Chrollo's gaze. A wide grin spread on Chrollo's face. "Perfect~, then let's get started!"

"What? Get what started?" Chrollo chuckled and got his nen book out. It took him a while to find the nen he wanted to use, as he'd never used it before. He had just taken it because he thought one day it would in handy, boy was he right.

Kurapika watched as a collar formed in front of him. He immediately felt he actually picked the worst option. He struggled but he couldn't avoid the collar shaped nen as it wrapped itself around his neck before disappearing. It was at that point that Chrollo finally released him. Right before he made an effort to lunge at the man, he spoke up, halting his actions. "I wouldn't do that if I was you." "Why?" "That collar, it means you belong to me. You can't hurt me even if you wanted to. It also means that we can communicate despite the distance between the two of us, it's the only reason this option gave you so much freedom. That collar also means that you obey my commands, but don't worry, I don't plan to use that feature unless it's necessary." "Gee. Thanks." Kurapika very sarcastically responded.

"Well. Now that that's over, how about I bring you to enjoy a delicious dinner!" "I don't have a choice do I?" "No" Chrollo said with a lighthearted mocking smile.

"You got a new pet and brought him here?" Hisoka asked. Very clearly not happy with interruption of his sleep. "Yup! Please cook him something good." "Did you know about this?!" Kurapika asked Hisoka, not happy with the idea that him becoming someone's pet had even been a consideration before he knew about it. "Eh, vaguely" Hisoka answered dismissively while making his way to the kitchen and pulling out what he needed.

Chrollo had just went in and sat at the table, Kurapika not knowing what else to do, went to sit down as well, as far away as possible. That is he was going to before: "Sit next to me" It clearly wasn't just a request because his body stiffly moved and sat in the seat right next to Chrollo, a frown on his face that Chollo only chuckled at, making Kurapika's frown deepen.

The power of that collar was no joke, but Kurapika wasn't given much time to dwell on it when a delicious scent hit his nose and found a hot plate of food when he looked back to the table in front of him. He is a little hesitant to take a bite, but when Hisoka and Chrollo dig in to their own food, he decides to at least try a bite.

"You made this!? I thought you couldn't cook?" The last question sparked Chrollo's curiosity. "You two know each other?" He asked, an accusatory tone aimed at Hisoka who was quick to come to his own defense, "We were in the same hunter exam, but I had no idea he was in York New, and, before you ask or assume, no. I did not know about the little Kurta here being the chain user, he hadn't even discovered nen when we last parted ways." Chrollo gave Hisoka a very clear look that said he didn't fully trust his words but decided to just let it go, to which Hisoka just shrugged.

Kurapika was eating silently, listening to the easy flow of conversation between the boss and Hisoka. In a way it was unsettling to him, but he didn't have much time to dwell on it when movement in his periphery drew almost all of his attention.

Kurapika didn't know what he expected, but it certainly wasn't a half-dressed, half-asleep Kiyotaka making his was towards the table. "Why?" Was all he asked. 'Why what' he wondered to himself, but got his answer when Hisoka answered Kiyotaka's. "Chrollo found the chain user who is none other then Kurapika, and brought him here to have me cook for the both of them." Kiyotaka just tiredly nodded in acknowledgement before plopping himself down on Hisoka's lap, and resting his head against Hisoka's chest.

Kurapika watched as Hisoka silently alternated between giving himself a bite and Kiyotaka a bite of food. He was honestly baffled by the relationship of the two. Did the small person in front of him really understand the danger he was accepting when he left himself vulnerable to a monster like Hisoka? Was Kiyotaka's situation similar to his own current predicament he got himself into? It really was a mystery because no one in their right mind would willingly be with Hisoka in the way that Kiyotaka is, but then the thought struck Kurapika, 'what if he isn't in his right mind?'

That question was a little upsetting to explore. Kiyotaka was so small and kept himself isolated from others. He didn't go out of his way to cause mayhem like he'd seen Hisoka do. If Kiyotaka really was out of his right mind, Kurapika thinks it would be a lot worse, because it was very hard to find anything behind Kiyotaka's eyes. No heart strings to pull, no insecurities to manipulate, if anything his eyes were like mirrors. They stare into your soul, and make you see it to, your weaknesses. Kurapika never wants to find out if he's right, and hr never wants to be considered the boys enemy. He just knows it would be bad news.

Kurapika was once again pulled out of his thoughts by movement in the room. 'who else could be here' he thought to himself before being run in to on either side and grabbed tight. That's when he saw the tufts of white and green hair. "Gon! Killua! What are you doing here?!"
