Chapter 12: Clash of Ideologies, Neferpitou Vs Kirito

"O_O" Pitou found herself surrounded by an otherworldly aura as she encountered Kirito, who was inexplicably fangirling over her. The air crackled with an unusual energy, making it hard for Pitou to discern the reality of the situation. Kirito's excitement knew no bounds, her admiration for the chimera cat girl evident in her star-struck expression.

As Pitou grappled with the surreal encounter, she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions-bewilderment, curiosity, and a hint of amusement. Kirito, on the other hand, couldn't contain her enthusiasm, bombarding Pitou with questions about her unique origin and abilities.

There was also an obsession as well....

"😦............" Pitou didn't respond.

"AHEM!.....uhh, well it's nice to meet you, Kirito was it? We appreciate it for you coming all the way out here for us." Kurapika said he tried breaking the awkward situation.

"It's absolutely no problem! Now that I know Neferpitou needs my help.....😍....(sign) I am happy to assist you, what exactly do you need my help with?" she asked him.

"We need your help if you can locate the Phantom Troupe...."

There was a brief moment of silence. Then, Kirito responded, "That group of humans? Are you seriously asking me to mess with them?" Her voice carried a stern tone as she replied to Kurapika's question.

"It's understandable why you would be afraid of them, but without your assistance we won't able to rescue Pitou's friend in time." Kurapika stated.

This peak her interest " Neferpitou's friend?" She asked and Pitou responded "her name is Mina Reinhardt, and just a few days ago she was kidnapped by the Phantom Troupe...I know how dangerous is to face those humans, I should know because I killed one of their members and it was barely able to survive that fight.

"Kirito, please, I need your help....let me rescue her in time before she ends up dead...." Pitou pleaded with her. Her eyes were filled with determination and this made Kirito feel somewhat bewildered.

She felt her heart skipped a beat and she could help but look at Pitou in a somewhat heroic manner. She took a deep a breath and made her decision. " The great Lord Neferpitou is asking for my help....( she started tearing up) I....I.....I feel so honored! ( she started crying) 😭 I don't deserve your trust in me."

Once again she took everything by surprised by her random sort of emotions.

She wiped her tears away " Lord Neferpitou, I will assist you in struggle on one condition "

"What would that be?"

"I wish to fight to the death."

This took everyone by surprised and Kurapika was completely against this " Hold on! Why do you need to fight her? You said you would help us, so why waste our time?

Maintaining her composure, she clarified, "I want to test Lord Neferpitou's strength. I need to know if she has grown weaker over time."

Pitou, intrigued by the challenge, considered her words. "A test of strength?"
