Gon was relishing the picturesque view of the clear blue sky as yet another day had come to an end. His mind was occupied with thoughts about Pitou's current location. Fortunately, Kurapika had been diligently collecting intel on the recent occurrences in Pata City.
Without a doubt, Pitou had been present there.
"Gon, how have you been?" Killua inquired, showing his concern for his friend. In the past few days, Kirito had been actively gathering any available information on the recent events.
"Yeah I've been alright. Killua, can I ask you something."
"Sure bud, what's on your mind."
"I can't help but worry about Pitou... I mean, she's always been strong and capable. But ever since the whole Phantom Troupe situation, something has changed in her. Am I just overthinking things?"
Killua took a moment to reflect on Mina's terrible ordeal. He was determined to make those bastards pay for what they did. However, he couldn't shake the feeling that this incident had caused Pitou to become fixated on seeking revenge.
As he pondered why Pitou had chosen to team up with Hisoka, Killua couldn't deny that he understood her reasoning. But Gon had a point - she had definitely become somewhat obsessed.
Despite his concerns, Killua tried to reassure himself by giving his own shoulder a comforting pat.
"Don't stress too much about her, alright? Just like you said, Pitou is a tough girl who doesn't give up easily. We both know that for sure, don't we? We're all working together to bring her back and take down the Phantom Troupe. She knows what she's doing, so let's have faith in her."
Gon felt a wave of relief wash over him as his friend reassured him. Although he still had concerns for Pitou, he knew he had to trust in her abilities. "Thanks, buddy. I really needed to hear that," Gon replied, his cheerful demeanor returning.
