The warm light of morning spread over Rita Docs, casting long shadows as the last of the celebrations wound down. The time for laughter, drinking, and old rivalries had come to a close, and now, one by one, they each prepared to move forward.
The world was vast, and adventure never truly ended.
Even if their paths were diverging, they would always find their way back to one another.
Millianna and Erza - The Road Back to Kakin
Millianna stood at the edge of the docks, the sea breeze playing with her wild hair as she gazed out at the horizon. Next to her, Erza adjusted the strap of the large travel bag slung over her shoulder. It was time for them to return to the Kakin Empire, where unfinished work still awaited them.
Killua and the kids would be traveling with them for now. Though Raito was still young, his adventurous spirit burned just as fiercely as his father's had once done. It was almost amusing how much of Gon's nergy the boy had inherited.
Millianna chuckled as she watched Raito excitedly tug at Killua's sleeve.
"C'mon, Dad! You promised to train me more when we got back!"
Killua sighed, running a hand through his silver hair. "I did promise... but you still have a long way to go, brat."
Millianna smirked. "Maybe you should just let me train him. After all, I do know a thing or two about handling wild kids."
Killua shot her an unimpressed look. "Yeah, and you'll probably turn him into even more of a menace."
Raito grinned mischievously, clearly liking the sound of that.
Erza watched the exchange with quiet amusement before turning to Millianna. "Are you ready?"
Millianna took one last look at the friends she was leaving behind before nodding. "Yeah... Let's go."
The journey home would be long, but she knew that no matter where they went, they were all tied together by something stronger than distance.

Makoto and Leorio - The Return to Mimbo Republic
Makoto, ever the warrior, never liked goodbyes. So, instead of dwelling on them, she focused on the next thing ahead: heading back to the Mimbo Republic with Leorio.
She stood at the docks, stretching her arms over her head. "So, old man, you ready to head back?"
Leorio, who had a splitting headache from the previous night's drinking, groaned. "Ugh... Not so loud, will you? I think my soul is hungover."
Makoto burst into laughter, slapping him hard on the back. "You're getting weak in your old age, Leorio! What happened to the guy who could drink all night and still patch people up in the morning?"
Leorio shot her a glare. "That guy is trying to live past forty, thank you very much!"
Kurapika, who was passing by, raised an eyebrow. "You're acting like you don't want to go back to work, Leorio."
Leorio sighed, rubbing his temples. "I do... I just know Makoto's gonna make my life hell when we get back."
Makoto grinned. "Oh, absolutely."
Despite his grumbling, Leorio was actually looking forward to returning to his work as a doctor. And with Makoto around? Life would never be boring.
