After the tumultuous events involving the Cockroach Hybrids, peace had finally been restored to the world. Neferpitou and Gon, having embarked on a journey of exploration, had been traversing the globe, encountering individuals from diverse cultures...
Neferpitou found herself backed against the wall, her body bearing the marks of battle. Despite the odds stacked against her, she refused to yield. The plea to rejoin their ranks fell on deaf ears as she remained steadfast, fighting against those who were once familiar faces.
Surrounded by former allies turned adversaries, Neferpitou's mind raced to find an escape route. Each opponent posed a unique challenge, and she couldn't afford to underestimate them. The walls seemed to close in, amplifying the gravity of her decision to stand her ground.
That's when Meruem decided to take things into his own hands.
"The two of you stand down....I wish to have a word with Neferpitou." Said Meruem.
With each step, he approached her cautiously, his movements deliberate and measured. Despite her injuries, she stood firm, ready to confront whatever challenges Meruem would bring her way.
"It's quite intriguing to see you challenging us, Neferpitou... a coward who abandoned their duty and now confronts the once mighty King. Are you really the same Neferpitou I recall?"
Pitou was repulsed by his remark and retaliated with a hiss. "You're nothing but a marionette! The Meruem I used to know would never have stooped so low as to associate with a corrupt Human!"
Meruem was taken back by that statement. He stood there gathering his thoughts as he remembered his past. Without hesitation she punch and sent Pitou crashing through the wall were she landed outside.
He took his time walking towards her
Pitou struggled to rise from the wreckage, only to find herself confronted by four formidable individuals. Trapped and devoid of ideas, she felt like a helpless mouse.
"Oh, this is not good at all..."
In an instant, Poof, Youpi, and Meruem launched a coordinated attack. It seemed like Pitou's demise was imminent, until a mysterious shadow engulfed her, causing her to vanish into thin air. "What!? Where did she go!? You useless fools!" Pitou's disappearance infuriated Omokage, who retaliated by landing a punch on Meruem's face, leaving a trail of purple blood on his lip.
Meruem remained silent, humbly kneeling down and offering his apology. "I'm sorry, master. Please forgive me... We never anticipated this turn of events."
Omokage scoffed, dismissing Meruem's apology. "No matter. Our plans remain unchanged, and I won't rest until I possess those eyes... Fortunately, I foresaw this happening. She will return... I am certain of it."

Pitou found herself engulfed in darkness, desperately searching for her whereabouts. As she scanned her surroundings, her eyes landed in a small cave that had become her unexpected refuge. Suddenly, a voice, long forgotten, echoed through the air. "You always manage to find trouble, don't you?" the voice remarked. Curiosity piqued, Pitou turned around to find a figure nonchalantly leaning against the wall. And there stood Angel.
