The confrontation between Pitou and Meruem reached unprecedented levels of intensity. Pitou employed a wide range of her skills throughout the ongoing battle.
One of her attempts involved utilizing her Kitty's Paw 🐾 to momentarily disrupt Meruem's Aura. However, Meruem swiftly evaded this maneuver and persisted in maintaining a safe distance.
Pitou struggled to keep up with Meruem's speed during their clashes. She relied on her Loin's Den and Connection Strings to propel herself towards him, attempting to match his pace. With each pull of her strings, she increased her speed from 140 mph to 160 mph, then to 170 mph. However, the constant acceleration made Pitou feel queasy.
Seizing the chance, Meruem landed a devastating blow to her stomach, sending her flying and crashing hard onto the ground.
She lay on the ground, struggling to rise. Meruem approached her, arms crossed in disappointment at Pitou.
"I'm truly let down by you. I expected more strength from you." (He extended his stinger tail towards her face) "Any final words?" he inquired.
Pitou's companions fretted that she had surrendered and was resigned to her fate. Gon shouted for Pitou to stand, but his pleas went unheard.
Yet, she wasn't ready to quit... No, she just needed him to draw near! With a swift kick to his face, she seized an opportunity.
"I refuse to give in!" She declared. Meruem was taken aback, knocked down by her unexpected strike.
Then he observed that Pitou was missing her right shoe as he noticed her exposed bare foot.
"Finally caught you~ do you notice anything peculiar?"
He gently touched his cheek and felt something unfamiliar on his face, a paw print 🐾.
Pitou realized that her attempt to strike him earlier with her Kitty's Paw was futile. Instead, she utilized her Loin's den and her Connection string to swiftly move around the area every time they clashed.
She willingly endured a few direct hits in order to draw him closer.
Meruem came to the realization that he was unable to generate any Aura from his body. His defenses were completely compromised, leaving him vulnerable to all attacks.
Then Pitou revealed another secret; she had concealed her strings with En. Each of her four fingers and her tail exposed her true intentions...
She had already ensnared him.
She released her strings and swiftly evaded as small balls of yarn rained down on the ground, causing small explosions upon impact.
Thinking quickly, she launched herself into the air, above the onslaught, and concentrated her Aura into a single point.
By combining and utilizing Emission, Ren, and Ten in the palm of her hand, she created a significantly large yarn ball that emanated immense power. Clutching it tightly, she hurled it directly towards Meruem with great force.
"100% EXPLOSIVE YARN!"
