( a/n - before i start this chapter i just gotta let ya know that i smoke too much cause why tf is there so many plot holes in this book.. earlier in the chapter i said she grew up with her older brother and in the last chapter she never had any family members and now she discovered she has a brother.. be fr. thats my fault. )

me and oakley just touched down in LA and were on our way back to my place to settle down for the night. tomorrow i'll be meeting.. my brother. i still don't know how to feel about all that but as of right now i just need to get home.
as soon as we arrived at the house i wanted to change and order some food so when we got inside we went upstairs and had the security guards carry the bags inside the house and they left allowing me to put a code to protect the security system in the house.
" what we eating, shawty ? " oakley asked me as i was changing into something more comfortable, " chinese? " i asked back but he made a face and shook his head.
" nah lets get tacos or something. " he said and i just agreed, i couldn't be bothered to even think about what to eat.
he went ahead and ordered on his phone and we just laid in bed and watched some tv till the food came and even after we ate we just laid in bed. it was about 9:30 pm when my phone started ringing and it was my manager.
" hey tee, come to the office by 12 tomorrow. darius is gonnna get there a little earlier cause we want him to sign an NDA before we do anything. just a heads up that he'll already be here when you arrive. "
" okay, thats fine. " i told her back.
" you nervous? " she asked me. a dumbass question if you ask me.
" yeah im nervous i just don't know what to expect. "
she sighed before replying, " you're tough, tori. i've been managing you for almost 2 years now and ive always admired your toughness. tomorrow's gonna be hard but it might be a blessing you needed. you're gonna be okay. "
you're gonna be okay.
i am gonna be okay. thats exactly what i needed to hear because those words lifted a ton of bricks off my shoulders. yeah im nervous. im fucking terrified but im gonna be okay. she's right about that.
" thanks girl i really needed to hear that. " i told her genuinely and let out a little giggled. i could literally feel her smiling through the phone.
" no prob mama, ill see you tomorrow. take care. " she hung up the phone after i told her take care as well.
i looked over to oakley to see him dead asleep at 9:45pm. this guy's usually up till 4 in the morning but the one night i need him to be up he's dead asleep. fuck it maybe i should just go to sleep. i turned off the tv and the lights and let myself fall asleep with one thought in my mind.
im gonna be okay.
