we arrived at the party at 1:22am and were hanging out in the private section of the club where there were dancers and bottles. people were smoking left and right and the air smelt like a mixture of weed, cigarettes, sweat, and alcohol.
" it stinks. " i spoke loudly into oakley's ear and felt his chest vibrate with laughter.
" i know. " he spoke in my ear.
we were smoking a spliff and passing it back and forth before this huge security guard came over to us with a guy behind him. the guy tapped oakley on the side and asked him to step to the side so they can talk really quickly.
he pecked my cheek, " i'll be right back. "
i looked around to see where bri was and i found her twirling her hair and laughing with wadz. they were standing really close together and you can just see how much they're attracted to each other.
" they're asking me to perform, but i don't feel like it i declined. " oakley said as soon as he got next to me. he looked a little unwell im not gonna lie, his face was pale and his eyes showed exhaustion.
" babe, you okay? " i asked him with worry in my voice.
he shook his head, " i dont feel well. "
" lemme get the guys we'll go back home. " i told him.
he shook his head again, " nah i dont wanna bother the mandem, lets just leave together. "
" okay let me just text bri. " i took out my phone and sent her a quick text that oakley wasn't feeling well so we were gonna go back home. we held hands and i followed him to the backdoor where the car was there waiting for us.
we got into the car and immediately oakley laid his head on my lap and rubbed his templed, " the music was so loud.. "
i nodded and began to run my fingers through his hair to relax him and soon after his body relaxed and he started to breathe heavier. he fell asleep. the house wasn't too far so when we got there i woke him up and helped him inside the house and into his bedroom where we were staying.
" go shower and change im gonna make you some tea " I told him.
After he closed the door to the bathroom I walked downstairs and set up the living room in a cozy way by bringing those little orange Halloween lights around the couch and closed the lights so the room was illuminated by orange light. I turned the kettle on so the water could heat up and while that was heating I grabbed a bunch of blankets and pillows and set them on the couch. As soon as I heard the kettle go off I walked back to kitchen and made him so detoxtifying tea. I set the tea down on the living room table and turned on the tv to hbo max and played friends. Our show. (a/n rest in peace matt perry / chandler bing. im so fucked about this yall)
" this is so cozy " he spoke up from behind me making me turn around. He was wearing grey sweatpants and no shirt.
" you looked horrible I wanted to make this as comfy as possible. Let me go change real quick. " I told him as I ran back upstairs to change into my comfy clothes.
