It's Not Over Yet, A Varian X Reader COMPLETE

Chapter 25: Forgive, learn, and move on

As Y/N is soaring through the sky, Varian is sprinting behind her with all his strength. He has never run this fast in his entire life and he won't slow down, not even for a millisecond. Every single second, breath, and step is vital to save Y/N's life. To keep her in his life for all eternity together as one soul, forever in love. For Varian to think this brings tears to his eyes which also adds fuel to his energy in sprinting through the village.

He makes it to where he sees Y/N land. There she is, standing at the very edge of where he thought he would never see her again. He slowly makes his way to her making sure as to not alert her of his presence. Once he is close enough to her as he thinks he can be is when he speaks up.

"Y/N, hey. I'm really sorry about everything that has been happening for the past year, I promised you that I'd be there for you and I broke my promise, I don't deserve your forgiveness, but if you can please stay and I can make up all the times I've caused harm to you and make you happy once again. It's all I ask of you, I want to make this right for you."

At this point Y/N turns around facing Varian but she has a river of tears flowing down her pink cheeks.

"You don't know how much it means to me hearing those words. But I'm not doing this because of the pain I've been going through, but because I broke my promise to my parents and I can't live with myself knowing that an innocent person's blood is on my hands."

She places her hands over her face and sobs into them. The next second she feels Varian's warm hands and body hug her which makes her break down even more and she hugs him tightly.

"Just so you know, I forgive you Y/N, I've gone through something similar so I can feel the feelings you're having and I want you to know you're not alone. This time I will be right beside you holding your hand and living our lives together. If you please do that for me. And I promise that this time I won't ignore your feelings and I'll love you as much as you love me." He looks down at her.

Y/N lifts her head from Varian's chest and nods in agreement smiling at him. A loving smile forms on his lips as well and he leans down and places his lips onto Y/Ns ever so gently. A long overdue kiss that was destined to happen between the both of them. Now for some people this may be the end of a story but for Y/N and Varian this is just the beginning of a new chapter for the both of them full with happiness, love, and even a few little ones running around their house.

Heyy yall so this is really the end of this book, it was a nice journey to go through and now it's time to shift my focus on other books. I'm creating three more books for L from Death Note, Corpse Bride gender bend, and Rob from Amazing World of Gumball so be on the lookout, it'll take me a while to finish these books because I wanna write it entirely before publishing the chapters.
