Everyone is in their position now, they are just waiting for a signal, a signal that Y/N will give out as planned. She jumps from the highest part of the castle down to the ground and then lets out three quick but loud whistles.
As soon as everyone hears the whistling they charge toward the unexpecting guards and start attacking them. Y/N quickly makes her way to Eugene's room while Andrew makes his way to Cassandra's room.
Within a few minutes of breaking in almost every castle guard has been thrown into the dungeons without much hassle so all that is left is for the rest of the group to meet up and help put with the three friends. Y/N and Andrew both wait outside the rooms of Eugene and Cassandra waiting for the rest to group into two groups and meet with them.
Y/N and Andrew both open the bedroom doors at the same time quietly, they are the first ones in and the group behind them follows, also being quiet like the breeze in the night. Before Eugene and Cassandra knew it they had a cloth with chloroform shoved onto their mouths and noses, they were not able to fight back as the chemical rushes to their brain shutting it down and causing them to pass out within seconds. Then the men pick up the two and take them out of their rooms down to the dungeons leaving Y/N, Andrew and four more of their crew members to finish the job with the king and queen.
Capturing them and throwing them in the dungeons wasn't as hard either since the chloroform works wonders in knocking them down. By the time everything is done the sun is just starting to come up. This means that the kingdom will be waking up soon, so we are all going to get everyone to gather in the middle of the town for the announcement of new leaders. Y/N's last hours alive.
Varian spent the whole night getting his items and weapons ready in case some villains try to fight him as he rushes to get to Y/N. Now he is rushing towards the castle to stop Y/N from all this madness and defeat Andrew and his crew again. They manipulated Y/N into thinking that he and Rapunzel are enemies when in reality they just want to control everything they get their grubby hands on. As Varian is running towards the castle he notices that everyone is making their way to the center of the kingdom. He catches fractions of people's conversations about the king and queen having a last-minute announcement to make. Just hearing that Varian stopped dead in his tracks as his heart stopped and his blood ran cold for he knew it wasn’t the king and queen.
"Oh fuck I'm too late, I have to change my plans." He mutters to himself.
He runs where the crowd is headed just to make sure that Y/N is somewhere there. Pushing, shoving, and squeezing through the crowd hoping and praying to anyone willing to hear that he catches even the smallest of glimpses of Y/N to confirm she's still here.
Rapunzel paces around the dungeon trying to figure out how to escape and regain her kingdom before it falls in the wrong hands. Especially if it's Andrew and his people leading.
"Punzel stop stressing, We'll figure something out, you're making all of us nervous when you're pacing back and forth." States her mother in the cell across from hers.
"I know Mother but we don't have enough time to formulate a whole plan we need to get out of here as soon as possible." She replies brushing her hands through her brown hair in stress.
Just then they hear the doors to the dungeon open and close followed by frantic footsteps, everyone holds their breath hoping it is help coming to get them out of these cold dungeon cells. The footsteps get louder and from the dark emerges Quirin and Rudigger.
"Don't worry I'm going to get all of you out of here as soon as possible so you can stop Andrew from going any further in his treason." He manages to wheeze out from the frantic running.
As the two get working together to get everyone out, outside the castle walls and into the heart of the kingdom every townspeople from men to children are gathered at the fountain trying to make sense of the commotion that was caused just a few minutes prior. And on the fountain stood the ones responsible for the commotion waking up every man, woman, child, and animal, the ones responsible for throwing the royals into the dungeons committing the biggest crime of all. Treason. Andrew and Y/N stood at the very top of the fountain showing off their pride like a trophie.
"Citizens of Corona. You all must be wondering what is going on right now? Why was everyone woken up in the middle of the night? Well I along with these lovely people came here to announce that Corona will have new rulers. My group got rid of the old Royalty and decided it was time to try something new, so say Hello to your new rulers!" Andrew shouts for everyone in Corona to hear.
Many people look confused, and scared, and most of them start murmuring amongst themselves. Before anyone can object the guys jump from the fountain and make their way through the crowd determining what chaos to ensure with. Y/N decides she doesn't want to cause anymore harm to anyone, so using her powers she emits a small powerful explosion under her sending her away from anyone, from that launch she was able to spot that same cliff she was supposed to die months prior.
"That should be my final resting place, it has a beautiful view so my soul can stare at the sky and ocean for all eternity."
And that is where Y/N "flies" to using the explosions to give her boosts through the sky. For the first time in her life she feels like she's truly free.
