Chapter 6: Jealousy at Great Expositions

I'm back from my long ass haitus, I finally got the inspiration to write on here. Also because at my weekend job I sit for hours doing nothing so I decided to take the time to write. But anyways, get ready for one hell of a butler (..... awkwardly smiles) ANYWAYS, this Chapter is Inspired by Midnight-Drawing77 from their book called "Go The Distance" go show them some love if you don't already read some of their stories, also I was going to mention this first but I got destracted, this will be a long chapter so make yourself comfortable grab some snacks and a blanket and let's get to reading!!!

Y/n goes to Snuggly Duckling were she meet Travis, she ends up having too much to drink and Travis had to take her home. Where in the morning Aleish wakes up with a hangover and doesn't regret it.

Y/n walks down to the kitchen to see what she could find to eat. When she stumbles to the kitchen she sees Varian cooking something.

"Good morning Y/n I hope you had a good night's rest" he says not looking away from the pan.

"H-how did you k-know I got here?" She leans against the door frame.

"Well you were a bit too loud walking down the stairs so it wasn't hard to hear you from a mile away."

"O-Oh, sorry about that" She makes her way to the table and sits down.

Right when she sits down Varian places a plate of Bacon, Eggs, and a pancake still sizzling in front of her with the silverwere already resting on the plate. He sets another plate down across from her and sits down. They begin to munch on the food in silence when Varian breaks the silence.

"So, um why did you leave the castle during dinner yesterday, you seemed pissed or something did something happen there that I need to know about?" Y/n flinches at that question.

how is she going to tell him that the reason she left that dinner was because she got jealous that Varian kept flirting with Cass and giving her this much attention

"Uhm, well, I got tired and wanted to go home so I left there sorry if I seemed mad or something I was just sleepy and I tend to look angry when I need sleep" She lies shifting her gaze to her food again so Varian doesn't notice that she is lying.

"Than if you were tired than why did you go to Snuggly Duckling and get drunk in front of a stranger that could have taken advantage of you" He did have a point there.

"Uhm, on my way home I got thirsty and I saw that Snuggly Duckling wasn't too far from were I was so I went inside and I saw Travis sitting alone at a table and I couldn't help but feel bad so I sat down with him and ordered a Fruit cocktail unaware that it contained Rum, once I tasted the slight alcohol I dismissed it as the cup not being properly washed and I kept drinking it, then I kept ordering more and soon ended up getting drunk, it wasn't my intention of drinking I just didn't know" She half lied and half told the truth to make it seem as she wasn't lying.

"You should be more careful on what you drink, just remember that almost any drink at Snuggly Duckling contains any sort of alcohol alright, now how bad does you head hurt so we can get it treated before heading back to the castle for the Great Expotations" her eyes widden in realization that the science expo was today.

"Oh, shit I forgot it was today! my head still hurts like hell but I think I'll be fine."

They get ready and drag this heavy machine that Varian made and is refusing to show Y/n until he is on stage with his assistant.
