Chapter 5: Accidentally drunk

"My name is Travis, but you can call me yours" He says with a smirk on his face. I giggle at his flirtatious tone towards me. "I think it's to early for me to call you mine, I think we might have to get to know each other better before taking that big step" I reply with the same flirtatious tone causing him to chuckle, we continue to get to know each other for a couple of minutes before one of the Ruffians come up to our table "Would you like anything Miss?" I look up at him and he is Big, tall, and Buff with a helmet on his chest having two horns coming out from the sides "Yes, I would like to have a Fruit cocktail please" he gives me a strange look "Weird request for you but alright one Fruit coctail coming right up" He leaves to get the beverage "Strange, I wonder why he gave me that weird look just now" Travis just shrugs "I think it's a strange drink choice for a young, beautiful lady as you, are you on a diet or something..Not saying that you need to be one I'm just curious!" I give a small chuckle

"No, I'm not on a diet I just wanted to have a fruit cocktail because I've heard it tastes really good"

"Anyways Y/n, tell me about yourself?"

"Well what do you want to know about me?"

Just as he was about to ask the Ruffian comes back with a mug of red liquid, he sits it down on the table and leaves. Right as he begins to leave I grab the cup and take a big sip. The taste of fruit fills my taste buds but another taste also comes in...It tastes like, Rum "Hmm, this has a little taste of Rum, maybe the cup wasn't properly washed" I say looking at the drink and lightly shaking it in circles "Hm, probably" He replies, I just shrug and take another sip letting him procced in asking his question "What was the question you were going to ask me?" I ask having the cup close to my lips getting ready to take another sip "Oh yeah, are you single?" I try not to spit the drink out at him and contain my laugh by swallowing the drink "heh yep single as I'll ever be, and if your going to ask me if I've ever had a boyfriend than the answer is No, I've never had a boyfriend, the reason I've n-never really liked someone..i-in that way" My mind goes to Varian and how I wished he felt the same for me and we would start a beautiful relationship. "Wow, you read my mind babe, and it's hard to believe that you never had a boyfriend before I mean you are so pretty I'm pretty sure you will capture every guy's heart" 'Yeah I wish I could only capture Varian's heart and make him mine but that won't happen he likes Cass and it's obvious' I think to my self apparently Travis noticed my expression changed from my happy one to a depressed face "Hey, are you alright you seem, sad?" His question takes me out of my thoughts "Oh, honestly I'm not really ok it's just...Promise you won't tell anyone Ok I don't want him finding out about what I'm about to tell you" He nods and I take a deep breath "Ok, so I have a crush on my bestfriend and he doesn't feel the same way because I see him flirt with someone else and give all his attention to her and leave me behind like I'm just some useless object or something" I try to hold back my tears and take another big swig of the drink finishing it up "Hey, can I have another Fruit cocktail please" I ask the waiter closest to the table, they nod and take my cup to the bar "That is not cool, you deserve all the attention in the world, I can't believe he doesn't notice you and ignores you like that, hey how about I be your new best friend and I will give you all my attention to you and I promise to never ignore you" he puts his hand on top of mine wrapping his fingers around my hand. I smile and follow soon after "Thanks Travis"

Third P.O.V

Half an hour later and a few more Fruit cocktails later Y/n begins to feel dizzy because the drink contained Rum and she drank 3 full cups of that. Travis begins to notice a change in behavor and realizes that the drink contains alcohol. He tries to get her to stop drinking more of that but she refuses and keeps drinking "Ok Y/n I think it's time for me to take you home" she just shakes her head "Noooooo, I'm having fuuuunnnnnn" he tries to grab her by the arms and help her up but she pulls away and starts running around the Pub "Y/N GET BACK HERE I NEED TO TAKE YOU HOME!" He then loses her in the crowd and a few minutes of aimlessly walking around he spots her getting on top of a table with a big cup in her hands "Y/N" he yells squezzing through the ruffians trying to get to her "HEY, EVERYONNE I HAVE A F-FUNNY STORY TO TELL YOU ALL, OK SO I HAVE THIS MASSIVE CRUSH ON MY BESTFRIEND BUT HA HE DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME WAY TOWARDS ME SO TO FORGET ABOUT THIS I CAME HERE AND NOW I'M DRUNK, HAHA HOW FUNNY IS THAT" she begins sipping at the drink while some ruffians laugh, Travis mananges to grab her wrist and pull her off the table taking the drink from her hands "Y/n we have to go obviously you had too much to drink" He pulls her out of the Pub and she just whines the whole time.

"Ok, can you please tell me were you live?"

"I live with my best friend"

"Yeah ok, but were exactly is it at?"

"It's this house that looks like a castle but smaller than a castle so don't get confused"

He knows which house it is and starts walking towards the house draging Y/n with him. He aproaches the house and slowly walks up the stairs trying to make sure you don't trip and fall. Once at the front of the door he knocks a few times than hears footsteps that seem to be running towards the door. The door is opened to reveal Varian with messed up hair and bags under his eyes "Y/n! were the hell were you at I was worried sick do you know what time it is? and who are you?" He shifts his gaze from Y/n to Travis with an angry look "My name is Travis and she came to snuggly duckling and sat at my table, she had too much to drink and I couldn't leave her on her own so I brought her here were she told me she lived" Varian grabs Y/n's wrist and pulls her away from Travis thanking him and closing the door "You are so lucky my father isn't going to be here for two days" Varian helps her upstairs and into bed "Now, get some sleep it's very late"

The next morning Y/n wakes up with a throbbing headache

"Ugh, what the hell happened?"

"You went to snuggly duckling and got very drunk so this kid named Travis had to bring you back home"

"Oh, shit Travis I must have embarrassed myself in front of him, uugghh how could I be so stupid not thinking twice about the taste of the drink" Varian pushes her down in bed and leaves the room to get something to stop her headaches and some breakfast, while he's gone Y/n turns to her side and notices a bucket on the floor were she decides to vomit in. She doesn't really regret getting drunk she really wanted to forget the events from yesterday she just hopes she didn't embarrass herself in front of Travis.
