Chapter 17 and 18: Loss and Reborn

*28 hours after Y/N leaves*

"Finally, the moonstone is mine, I going to be the most powerful being the universe has ever had" I let out a laugh which would be meant for maniacs. "Now everyone will finally see that they were wrong all along."

*Third P.O.V*

After the incantation was said and the power was transferred to Y/N she goes to a nearby cliff and begins using all her powers combined to get the hang of using them. Time goes by of her using her new powers and laughing uncontrollably she determines herself as good enough to find her parent's murderers and making them her first victims. Just as she was about to go find them she hears multiple voices calling out to her.

"Y/N DON'T DO THIS PLEASE!" Varian's voice is heard from amongst the trees.

I turn around to look for him, he emerges from the trees and behind him follows Cassandra, Rapunzel, Eugene, and Travis. What the hell are they all doing here? I don't want to see any of them right now. They better not be planning some little attack against me because we all know that it'll end in someone getting really hurt and possibly even dead.

"Get the fuck out of here Varían, I don't want to see you or anyone at the moment so leave before you regret it" I threaten turning back toward the waters below trying to ignore their presence.

"We are not leaving without you Y/N, please don't do this, it'll only get you killed trying to harness these two powers which are to never be combined as they are beyond dangerous for a human to hold-" Rapunzel explains

"Shut the fuck up Rapunzel, you have no right to try to help me and talk me through things when you didn't even want to do that before when I actually needed you. And I don't need you anymore so you can shut up and leave princess" I interrupt her little speech and give her a death glare.

"Y/N cutie please think about this-"

"Go back to your little girlfriend Travis I don't know why you're even here after breaking my heart and knowing you broke it" I spat making him shut up

Apparently all of them trying to talk to me was a form of distraction because on the corner of my eyes I see Cass and Eugene charging at me on either side. With a swift motion of my hand from right to left I create two walls on each side of me stopping them from going any further with their plans. I glare at the rest and lift my right hand up ready to attack them too for knowing what they were doing and trying to distract me. I let out a boulder of black rock and hurl it towards the three. Rapunzel uses her long blonde hair to wrap it around the boulder and fling it away from them, Travis and Varían move out of the way all while screaming at me to stop what I'm doing. Eugene runs by Rapunzel's side to support her up as she seems that she's too weak to fight. I ignore Travis and Varían because they have ignored me for the longest time when I needed them. I see Cassandra jump over the wall with her sword high above her head ready to strike me. I make a sword with the black rock and block her strike.

"Now we get to finally finish the fight that was started a long time ago" I grunt with a smirk on my face

"Y/N, please I'm sorry this happened to you but please stop this so we can talk about this!"

Varían yells as he's trying to get through the mess towards where Cassandra and I are fighting. And just for that split second that I lower my guard Cass throws a punch on my left cheek and I stumble back towards the cliff causing the moondrop stone to fall off the cliff and into the water. I can feel myself grow weaker and I can feel more pain from the stone not being on me anymore. I glare at Cass from the side while I feel warm and iron tasting liquid start flooding my mouth. I spit some blood out and wipe the excess with the back of my hand, she starts charging at me raising her sword above her head once again.
