"Varían you need to listen to me, please I'm onto something and I need your help in figuring out about the Eclipse powers. Please come with me to my childhood town to find answers" I beg to Varían as he's trying to ignore me
I keep asking and begging him while he moves around his lab trying to focus on his project more than me. I seem to have irritated him because he turned around to face me with an annoyed expression on his face.
"No Y/N I'm not helping you, I feel like you are trying to do something bad with the powers you gained" he replies pushing me aside
"I don't know what you're talking about, I'm not planning on doing anything bad I promise you, I'm just trying to figure out more about Eclipse that's all, and it has nothing to do with my newly gained powers, well it does but I want to be able to control them so they don't end up hurting you or anyone" I lie to him trying to sound as genuine as possible.
"I'm sorry Y/N but I can't help you, I'm busy with work here and I have plans with Cass-"
"Oh of course, Cassandra Cassandra Cassandra, all you care about now is Cassandra. She doesn't have feelings for you open your fucking eyes Varían and realize that she doesn't love you and never will. Open your eyes and see that the person that actually loves you is standing right in front of you!" My eyes widen at my sudden and unexpected confession.
Varían returns the same expression. There's an awkward silence in the room for a bit before I retract and change the subject before I hear his rejection, I've already had to deal with rejection twice and I'm not about to be rejected for the third time.
"Never mind, I'm going by myself, you never even wanted to help me anyways. Some fucking friend you became" I turn around and stomp out the lab without another word.
I enter my room and snatch my satchel from beside my bed and begin filling it up with clothes and everything else I need for my trip. If no one is going to help me then I don't need anyone, it's not like they even wanted to help me in the first place. Ever since I came to this kingdom all that's happened to me was being thrown aside and talked down upon, no one even considered helping me or seeing how I was doing. These people are all fake and selfish. I'm going to avenge my parents on my own, I'm good to get these powers on my own, like how it was from the very beginning.
I throw my satchel over my shoulder and walk towards the front door and slamming the door shut behind me not even sparing a single glance behind me to see if anyone was trying to stop me because I already knew well that no one was there for me. No one ever was. That's when I hear his voice from inside calling out to me trying to stop me. I ignore Varían and descend the stairs not caring if he was following me or not. If I need to get to my destination as quick as possible I'm going to need a horse to get there. Luckily I know where they are at.
Before Varían was able to open the door to follow and stop me I had already left to find a horse, there was no stopping me now, I'm going to do what I was meant to do for the longest time. Destroy those people and stop anyone that gets in my way no matter the cost, no matter who tries to stop me.
