Chapter 15: A Course Change

A few days after my accident no one can find who caused the explosion and the murder. And since then I've been locked up in my room ignoring Varían and sitting at my desk for hours on end staring into the wall and writing about everything I know about my powers and having mental breakdowns at the murder I'm responsible of. I feel like I'm sort of detaching myself from the emotions I once felt, I don't want to feel love, or any of those kinds of good emotions. I can't feel happy anymore or excited.

"Y/N, please you should go out and do something, you haven't gone outside for days and you've been sitting all the time not moving to eat or sleep, I'm really worried for you" Varian's sweet voice floods my mind clearing it and removing me from my trans

"You're right. I should go see Rapunzel and talk to her as I haven't talked to her for almost a month" I say in a dead monotone voice.

Without another word I get up and walk out of the house towards the castle. Varían doesn't seem to follow me because I don't hear other footsteps besides mine. At least he isn't following me to see what I'm up to and what I'm going to try with Rapunzel when I get to talk to her and see her Sundrop powers.

"Is Rapunzel here?" I ask one of the guards standing by the gate

"Yes she is, I'll send a guard to get her for you" one of the guards replies

So I'm thinking they changed if people can just walk in the castle, I'm thinking it might be because I stole the book from their library. Then again if they know I did it then why aren't they arresting me?

"Y/N! I'm so glad you came I haven't seen you for almost a whole month what have you been up to?" She cheers running up to me and embracing me in a tight hug

"Hi Punzel it's been so long I missed you so I had to see you to catch up on what adventures we went on while we were on hiatus" I fake giggle

"Yes we should catch up I have so much to tell you come on let's go to the garden to talk about everything!" She takes my hand in hers and leads me to the garden that I haven't been to in so long

She sits down in the middle of the garden and I follow along. That's when I should start my plan and see if it works

"You know, I've been learning how to style hair and I've been dying to see which hair style would be great for you instead of always having it in a braid" I inform, she gasps really loud

"Oh my god really! I've been wanting to try a new style for my hair for so long but none of the hair styles that are done I like, I would love to see which ones you do on me, give me a second I'll bring my hairbrush" she jumps up and runs inside the castle to retrieve her brush for me to do her hair

Faze one of my plan is set in motion, this is going to be great if I sing her incantation and some of her power transfers to me than that means when I touch and sing to the moonstone then it'll do the same and I'll be the most powerful being in this entire world and maybe even the universe.

"I'm back! Alright let's get started!" She chirps and skips to me

Punzel tosses the brush to me and sits down with her back facing me. I remove her hair from the braid it's always in and begin brushing it as she talks about the adventures she was on that I could care less about, I should take this time as an advantage while shes distracted to sing her incantation.

"Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine" I begin singing but Rapunzel stops and interrupts me

"How do you know the incantation to my powers?" She asks a little concerned

"Oh I did my research when I was younger because in my home town is where the Eclipse was born and since then I've been into it so I was able to memorize your incantation and the moonstone incantation, especially the Eclipse incantation too" I quickly reply before she can connect the dots herself "make the clock reverse bring back what once was mine" her hair starts glowing and I can feel that her power is going to me and making me feel stronger "Heal what has been hurt, change the fates' design, save what has been lost bring back what once was mine, what once was mine" as soon as I finish the incantation Rapunzel starts getting a little light headed

"I'm sorry Y/N, I feel a little lightheaded for some reason" she holds her temple and closes her eyes

"Oh God I'm so sorry Punzel I didn't know singing the incantation would cause you dizzy spells, if I knew I wouldn't have sang it" I pretend to be concerned "Should I get Eugene here to help you?" I ask sounding as worried as possible. All she could do is nod and there I go looking for Eugene.

It took a few minutes of aimlessly walking around looking for Eugene but I finally found him , as soon as I tell him that Rapunzel needs help and that she is in the garden he bolts in the direction of the garden like it was something really serious which it was serious, to him at least. I help Eugene get Rapunzel inside and to her room so she can rest while I tell him what happened and that I didn't know that singing her incantation would weaken her.

Soon after I left the castle feeling accomplished for my mission being a complete success, I can already feel myself becoming more and more powerful just by some of her power transferring to me. Now all I need to do now is get my hands on the moonstone then I'll have all the strength I can imagine, then I can finally get my revenge on the men that took my parents away. Finally at least one of my promises would be fulfilled and my parents could finally rest easy knowing that those men won't hurt anymore families in the future. I walk back home with a smirk on my face seeing what the near future is bringing me.
