Chapter 7: Fight

     "Hey Var, I have a pretty personal question" I say looking down and tapping my two pointer fingers together.

     He looks up from his lab experiment and pulls up his goggles to rest on his head.

     "What's up Y/n?"

     "You k-know we are at th-that age were we start th-thinking about relationships and all, so uhh do you have your eye o-on someone yet?" I look down still tapping my fingers together

     "Hhmm I haven't really thought of that but I do like Cassie a lot I mean her bravery, stubbornness, beauty, and vo-"

     "Yes yes I get it you really like Cassandra" I roll my eyes in annoyance

     "What about y-"

     I cut him off by grabbing my cased sword, throwing it over my shoulder and walking out of his lab and closing the door behind me without saying another word. Before I begin walking I close my eyes, face up at the sky, and take a deep breath to calm myself down. As I start to feel calm I turn my head to face forward and I open my eyes beginning to walk towards downtown to clear my head and maybe even buy a few things.

     Just as I was about to enter a shop I spot Cassandra walking away. Well I guess it's a change of plans then. I turn to the direction she's going and I chase after her. I turn a corner and I end up in this mini training field were Cass is swinging her sword around. I walk towards her and speak up to get her attention.

     "Hey Cass, I'll take you up on that competition you mentioned when we first met" I yell catching her attention

     She looks at me then smirks putting away her sword and walking towards me to seem intimidating. I simply smirk back at her not giving her the satisfaction of being intimidating.

   "Alright kid, first one to surrender loses an-"

   "I already know how it works I'm not a newbie" I interrupt her

   "Very well then, shall we begin?" Her smirk grows wider

   I walk around town in attempts to find Y/n, she did leave pretty pissed and I want to know what I did to get her mad. As I'm looking around each shop I spot that Travis kid at one of the stands buying oranges. He might know where Y/n is at. I walk up to him and instead of tapping him on the shoulder like a normal person, I place both my hands on either side of his shoulders and forcefully turn him around.

   "Do you have any idea where Y/n is? She left the house pretty pissed and I'm worried about her" I inform

   "No I haven't seen her at all today, what happened that caused her to leave the house in anger?" Travis cocks his head to the side

   "That's what I'm trying to find out, come help me look for her"

   I don't give Travis a chance to say anything and I pull him by the collar and drag him away from the stand and into the crowd. I let go of his collar and let him stand beside me and help me look around.

   "Where could she be?" Travis asks placing his thumb on his chin

   She did take her sword so she's probably on one of the training grounds right at this moment
