Travis, Varian, and I got invited to the castle by Rapunzel so we could help her, Eugene, Lance, and Cass plant a garden in the backyard of the castle. The boys dig and rake up the grass while us girls pick up pots with flowers in them and we gently dig the flowers out of the pot making sure we don't accidentally harm them. I'm on the other side of the field planting flowers, I look up and see Rapunzel and Cassandra chatting up a storm. I finish planting a yellow tulip and wipe my forehead taking a small break to not overwork myself in this heat. Not a couple seconds later Travis sits beside me with his usual smirk plastered across his pale face.
"You know, you look very cute when you're concentrated in working hard"
I look down at my lap with a stupid grin on my face.
"Oh shut up you're making me flustered" I reply back only giving him more confidence
"It's true, especially when you make that cute concentration face with you tongue slightly sticking out it's so adorable that I just want to squish your cheeks and kiss you" Travis lightly bumps my shoulder with his as blush begins to form on my cheeks and nose.
"Aww you two are so cute together, hey why don't we go on a triple date, with Eugene and I, Cassandra and her new boyfriend, and you and Travis! How does that sound?" Rapunzel asks eagerly and Cass just roles her eyes at her.
"That sounds amazing, gives me more time to have Y/N sweapt up off her feet by my charms" Travis wiggles his eyebrows and uses his pointer and thumb in an L shape rests it under his chin.
I playfully 'Tch' and look away slightly giggling, I'm still not on good terms with Cassandra after our fight about two months ago. I know I know that was a pretty long time but since that fight I haven't talked to her at all nor run into her in public for that matter. Varian hears our planning and also comes up to our little group talk.
"I'm going too, I don't mind if I 8th wheel I just want to make sure nothing bad happens to anyone" he informs becoming a bit fidgety and nervous
I have a feeling he is going to third wheel either me and Travis or Cassandra and this Andre guy.
"When and where are we going to have this triple date at?" I tilt my head to the side slightly
"Oh today, and meet us by the river at sunset, this is going to be so fun!" She turns around and skips away happily
I go back to planting flowers and going into my own little world of thoughts. I feel someone watching me so, instinctively I look up and around for the source of the feeling, only to see Travis still seated beside me staring dreamily at me with one hand resting on his knee and on his cheek. I playfully scoff and look away a little flustered.
"What are you looking at?" I ask even though I already know the answer to that question.
"Oh I'm just staring at the most beautiful flower in this whole garden, you just manage to shine brighter and more beautifully than all these other flowers" he comments not taking his gaze off me.
I look back at the flowers I'm planting and try to hide my burning red cheeks. Suddenly I feel myself slightly being pushed to the side and squished. I look to my side again and see that Varian has squeezed himself between Travis and I.
"So what you guys chatting about?" Asks Varian trying to not make this awkward as hell.
"Oh it's nothing important, just complimenting her that's all" Travis responds with a smirk.
"Is that so we-"
"Anyways I should head home and get ready for this triple date, I don't want to be late since I've never been on a date before." I stand up and walk away from the two boys before they could start bickering about something stupid.
"Punzel I'm going to go home and get ready for the double date!" I inform
"OKAYYYY, DON'T FORGET WE MEET BY-"
"I know I know, by the river at sunset, don't worry I won't get lost, byeeeee" I wave everyone goodbye and jog all the way home, yes I took a few breaks here and there because shit Varian's house is pretty far from the castle.
Timeskip
I meet Travis halfway to our meeting spot so the both of us walk the rest of the way there talking about anything and everything and having fun time. Until we run into Varian and things take a more, awkward and intense turn for the three of us. No one said anything apart from the normal greetings but other than that it was complete awkward silence and I had to be in the middle of all that. LITERALLY! (In case y'all wondering you're wearing a dress similar to this, if you want you can change the color)

I prayed and prayed for us to arrive at the meeting spot so this awkward tension could be banished because if I'm being honest, I hate it, I mean who wouldn't? Luckily my prayers have been answered and in the distance I spot Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, and Andre. A small smile of relief apears on my face and I pick up my walking speed into an almost sprinting speed. The two males took notice and followed behind to also join the group.
"Oh Y/N, Travis, Varian, you guys came I'm so glad. Well this let's get this date started" Rapunzel cheers
This pretty tall guy with brown hair pulled up into a bun walks up to the three of us to introduce himself or say something, I'm guessing this is Andre, the guy that Punzel and Cassandra have been talking about...
