Johnny Knoxville loved Valentines Day. You never expected him to get so excited about the holiday because he used every day to show you how much he loves you but there was something about having a day set in the calendar that is 100% dedicated to showing you how much he loves you he just can't get enough of.
You woke up to the soothing feeling of Johnny's thumb tracing circles on your cheek and you smiled sleepily, nuzzling into his hand before turning your head to press a kiss to the inside of his palm before you even opened your eyes. As soon as your eyes opened, you were met with the sight of Johnny looking at you as if you were the only girl on the entire planet.
'Morning,' you sighed sleepily, letting your eyes flutter shut again briefly when Johnny leant over and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips.
'Morning, sweetheart,' he replied and you knew from his voice that he had already been awake for a while. 'Happy Valentines Day.'
'How long have you been up?' you asked as you sat up in bed and took in Johnny's fully dressed form in front of you.
'An hour or so,' he replied, shrugging his shoulders before turning around and lifting a tray up off of the dresser. 'I had to make sure you had the perfect morning.'
As Johnny set the tray down on your lap, you noticed that there was a mug of coffee that looked to be made exactly how you like it and next to the mug sat the book you were currently reading and had left downstairs the night before. After five years of dating, Johnny knew that your perfect morning consisted of a cup of coffee in bed while you read a couple of chapters of your book.
'It's perfect, baby,' you said, fisting the front of his t-shirt in your hand and lightly tugging him down into a sweet kiss. 'What time do you have to go to work?'
Johnny pulled away and looked down at you as if you had grown a second head. 'I'm not going to work today, sweetheart. I'm spending the day with you, making sure you don't move a muscle. Let me take care of you today, sweetheart.'
'I love you so much,' you replied. Every time Johnny does something like this for you, your heart melts even more, having never had a boyfriend treat you this well before.
'I love you too,' he said, grabbing your hand and pressing a kiss to your knuckles before standing back up. 'Right, you have your coffee and a read and meet me downstairs when you're ready.'
'Wait, what about the Valentine's present I got for you?' you asked, wanting to show Johnny that you loved him just as much as he loved you.
'You don't need to give me anything, sweetheart,' he said, heading towards the door to give you some peace and quiet to read. 'You already are my Valentines gift.'
