You closed the front door behind you, struggling to balance the bags in your arms.
You and Johnny both had the day off, so you decided that instead of just lounging around doing nothing, you wanted to do something that you never really had time to do; bake. Hearing the door, Johnny appeared in the hallway, grinning when he saw that you were back, and he immediately moved to take the bags from you, noticing that you were struggling.
'What are we baking, doll?' he asked, peering into the bags as the two of you walked into the kitchen, trying to figure out what it was that you were going to be making together.
'I thought I'd start you off easy, and we can just make some cookies,' you teased, nudging him in the side lightly, knowing that he was never the best in the kitchen. In reply, he stuck his tongue out at you as he placed the bags on the side and started to unpack them.
'I'm not that bad,' he said, a slight whine in his tone that made you grin and lean up to quickly peck his lips. He started to lay the ingredients that you were going to be using on the side and put away the items that you weren't going to be using. You couldn't help the laugh that left your lips as you watched him put the stick of butter in the fridge. 'What?' he asked, pausing his movements when he noticed you laughing.
'Baby, we need the butter,' you said between your giggles.
'What? When? I've never used butter to make cookies!' He protested. You took the stick of butter from his hands and placed it back on the side, wrapping your arms around his waist and looking up at him.
'Well, that explains a lot, doesn't it.'
'Hey, be nice,' he murmured, pressing another kiss to your lips. The kiss quickly started to turn heated, and you had to pries yourself away from him before you both let it escalate any further.
'Come on, we'll have time for that later. First, you need to learn how to make cookies,' you said, turning back around so you could gather everything that you needed.
The actual process of making the cookies was very much one-sided with you measuring everything out and making sure that everything was added in the right order, not exactly trusting Johnny to not mess it up somehow. This worked perfectly well for Johnny as he hopped up onto the kitchen side and watched you, admiring the way you would blow a stand of hair that had fallen loose from your ponytail out of your face as you stirred the ingredients together.
'Give it here, doll, let me have a go,' Johnny said, not giving you a chance to reply as he took the bowl and wooden spoon from your hands and began to stir the cookie dough. You let yourself take a moment to just stand and watch him while he mixed everything together, your eyes zeroing in one his arms and the way his hands were holding the spoon.
'My eyes are up here, doll,' he said, pulling you out of your thoughts for you to see that he had a smirk playing on his lips when he saw where your eyes were trained.
'Shut up,' you muttered, not able to hide the small smile that was working itself onto your face. Once you were both happy that everything was mixed together thoroughly, you took control again, separating the cookie dough into small segments and playing them on the baking tray before putting the tray in the oven and setting a timer.
You both started to clean everything up before you ran your finger through the flour that had been spilled on the side, gathering it on your finger and running it across Johnny's cheek. Johnny slowly turned to look at you, and you couldn't help the laugh that bubbled from your lips as he tried his best to look serious, despite the flour smeared on his cheek.
'Oh, sweetheart,' he said softly, slowing reaching his hand into the bag of flour, not taking his eyes off of you as he opened his flour-filled palm and blew it in your direction, covering you in flour. 'You really chose the wrong person to mess with.'
Before you had the chance to retaliate, Johnny had pounced on you, the flour that was still clinging to his hands getting white handprints all over your black t-shirt before he trailed his hand up to the side of your neck, pulling you in for a rough kiss. All thoughts flying out of the window, you surrendered to the feeling of his lips on yours and gripped his t-shirt in your own hands, trying to pull him closer than was physically possible.
His hips started automatically grinding themselves against your crotch as his lips started a trail down your neck. Your hands had made their way down to his belt buckle, managing to undo the clasp when you heard the smoke alarm ring out through your house.
Pulling away, you quickly moved over to turn the oven off and take the now-burnt cookies out as Johnny moved to turn the smoke alarm off.
When he turned back around to face you, he couldn't help but laugh at your disappointed face as you were holding the tray of burnt cookies with a small pout on your lips.
'This is your fault,' you said, setting the tray on the side and moving closer to him again.
'I don't remember seeing you complaining, doll,' he replied, kissing your forehead before wrapping his arms around you, pulling you into him. 'Besides,'
he said when he noticed that you were still looking at the tray, 'I can always take them to set tomorrow and make Steve-O eat them and say it's part of the film,' he said, burying his head in your neck as you laughed, knowing full well that that's exactly what Johnny was going to do.
