When April heard my plans for our weekend, she chose the club and off we went. The plan was to have some drinks, and dance, then go to the nearest place to eat. I was skeptical about the club she took us to; it's name sounded like a name for a strip club, or a brothel.

But I was pleasantly surprised when we walked inside and the scenery of the place screamed the opposite of what I thought was awaiting us. It had a charm to it that no other night club I had been to possessed; the red and black deco worked well together.

The gold and black bar was surrounded by people waiting to order drinks. At the far end of the room, opposite the bar was a two or three feet high stage where a DJ was playing music. The dim lights enhanced the ambience in the populated club.

This wasn't what I thought when we saw the sign "Red Stilettos" outside the club. I wondered what brought on the name, did it have any significance or was it just spontaneity?

In fact, the entire night wasn't what I was expecting. Meeting Chef Jake in a nightclub threw me off guard. And dancing with him left me overwhelmed and messed with my head, he smelt so good —his lean body was so hard — his hands on my waist...

"Who got you looking like that?" I vaguely heard someone ask.

"She can't hear you, she is in la la land."

"Let me do this before she catches on."

A clicking sound brought me back to the present. Soph and April were smiling like idiots, they looked like cats that got the cream. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"No reason," April answered, with a smile. "Who's the guy that’s got you all that dreamy looking?"

"What are you talking about?”

I looked between them, hoping one of them could clarify what they were on about. Since they saw me dancing with Jake last night, they’ve been gossiping in the corner and snickering quietly.

"Have you looked in the mirror today?” Soph asked.

“N-no, why?”

“You can’t stop blushing,” she said and I snorted, finding that ridiculous.

We spent the rest of the day indoors, getting manicures, pedicures and massages. Well April did, Soph and I were only getting massages and pedicures. I had booked for the three of us to get pampered in our apartment and the ladies didn't disappoint.

"I don't understand. You and Alex are not twins but you share a birthday?" Sophia asked, sipping her wine.

"Alex is two years older than A, he’s twenty five and she’s twenty three. They have the same birth date but different years, so they always celebrate together." I explained, munching on cheese.

I had planned to forget about what happened yesterday at school with Alex, but wondered who I’d rather discuss the matter with if not my friends. In order to get to the point about what took place yesterday we had to get Sophia up to speed with my history with the Reigns.

"That's sweet and kind of weird." Sophia remarked knitting her brows.

"It used to be sweet while we were kids, now it's just lame, but I wouldn't change a thing about it," April stated, with a smile on her face.
