Jacob's POV

I didn't think pleasuring a woman would be so fulfilling, I have pleasured many women in my life, but never has it felt so perfect. I had to immediately stop her when she said she wanted to return the favor, tonight wasn't about me, but her.

If she didn't have such a hectic schedule I would have pampered her all week long. I planned more for today because tomorrow she has school then work later. "How are you liking the business lessons?"

"They're alright," she replied, looking uninterested in the topic.

"That bad?" I asked hoping she would tell me more. I haven’t known her for long, but I could tell something was bothering her.

She sat up straight and replied, "It's nothing that can't be fixed, what I'm really struggling with is food and wine pairing,"

Food and wine pairing posed a challenge for many people, I also had trouble with it in culinary school, but I got help and now I would pass on that knowledge. Amara had what it took to be the best upcoming new chefs in London.

Cooking was easy, but cooking mouth watering food wasn't for everyone. Some required to undergo serious training to cook, while others needed training to enhance their God given talent of cooking. Amara fell under the latter.

“Amara, you know that you can talk to me about anything right?” I needed her to know that I’m always here for her.

She kept quiet for a while, contemplating my words, “You remember that woman who walked in on us about a month or so ago, Emily? Is she your ex-girlfriend?”

A part of me knew that whatever was making her look so uncomfortable might be because of Emily, I just hoped I was wrong. “Yes, she’s my ex-girlfriend.”

“Emily and I dated a few years back, and I ended things between us. She took the news hard and left the country. When I took the offer to be a part time instructor, I wasn’t aware she was back, let alone working at the culinary.”

“Okay, thank you for being honest.” She said with a small.

“Look at me,” I voiced holding her chin then continued, “I will always be honest with you, so I need you to talk to me whenever you aren’t okay with something. Understand?”

“Yeah.”

Knowing Emily, she did something and I had to make sure she stopped with her antics. “What did she do?”

“Nothing, she was stalking me-”

Cutting her off I asked, “She did what?”

“Don’t worry about it, I made sure she understood that I will press charges if she continues and I think she got the message. She’s also my BM lecturer.”

“Really? I should talk to her and make sure she doesn’t mistreat you.” I said, but she shook her head.

“No, no, no, that might gaslight her. I don’t think she would do anything underhanded.”

Dropping the Emily conversation, I stood and helped her get on her feet. "Come with me to the kitchen,"

"But I'm so comfortable here," she whined, snuggling more into the couch.

Amara loved a challenge, she thrived on it and I knew it wouldn't be difficult to get her up on her arse. "Are you scared kitty, but I understand I would be too if a bulldog came my way," I taunted.

Standing in front of me, "Me?! Scared? I don't scare so easily, especially not by a chihuahua. All bark, but no bite," she finished off her little speech by running her little fingers along my jaw then walked away.
