Khyl spoke and said, "What do you mean that you don't know?"

"You said earlier that you were the one who made this and you don't know whether or not it will work?" King Albert questioned

Jerome sighed and answered honestly, "Just like I said earlier, it was my first time making one, and coincidentally, you guys are going to partake in the subjugation. So I will use this chance to test whether the pendant will work or not."

Joseph pouts and says, "I thought I could become immortal with this pendant."

Khyl hit Joseph's head and commented, "How did you even think of something like that?"

King Albert and Prince Jerome laughed at Joseph, who keeps blabbering about impossible things that will happen with the pendant, and he later laughed at his own words.

"Father, I am not one hundred percent sure about the pendant. I don't even know if it will work or not, so please be careful out there," Jerome said sincerely

Joseph said while petting his head, "Brother, are you sure you'll be okay here?"

"I should be the one to ask you that," Jerome said, while hitting his head

Khyl asks in a sincere voice, "Please do everything to find Scarlett."

Jerome replied, "I will, brother." He then looked to his father and added, "Father, even though you are in the army camp, still be very careful; we don't know what danger the monsters may bring to you." Jerome then looked at his two brothers and added, "Please, brother, the two of you should be very careful. Don't worry, I'll find our sister whatever the cost."

"I will take note of that, my son" King Albert replied

Khyl replied sincerely, "We will be very careful, and I hope you will find Scarlett when we get back. I am worried about her even now."

"I hope so too so please find her elder brother," Joseph said worriedly

Jerome replied, "I will do my best to find her."

Jerome then hugged his father and then his two brothers.

Seconds later, they broke out of their hug. The king and the two princes bid their farewell to Jerome and hop onto the carriages in front of them, then leave.

On their way to the army camp outside the kingdom, the carriage passed numerous people from the kingdom who greeted the King and the two princes. They also waved back at their waves of a thousand hands.

King Albert was on the inside of the royal carriage, while the two princes, Joseph and Khyl, were on the outside, riding their own horses.

Joseph and Khyl were riding a horse in front of the carriage, with a few armed troops on both sides.

"Eldest Brother, I like this feeling of seeing our people waving at us," Joseph spoke while waving his hands to the people.

"Good for you," was the short reply from Khyl while looking straight and dead serious

Joseph sighs and asks, "Why can't you just wave your hands for them?"

Khyl looked at him, gaining his attention, and Joseph showed his hands to his eldest brother. He then sways them and says, "Look, it's easy, and it doesn't hurt to do it."

Khyl is looking at his brother, who is now swaying his hands crazily in front of him. He smiled and tried to stop laughing at his thoughts. If there was water in his mouth, he would have blown it in front of him.

Joseph stopped waving his hands at him. He noticed that there was something fishy about his brother. Because he looked on the opposite side, tittering and holding his laughter while covering his mouth with his hands.

He then asks curiously, "Is there something funny?" He then looks at himself to see if there is something wrong with him.

Khyl couldn't hold his laughter any longer as he noticed that his brother checked himself to see if there was something wrong with him.

"Pfffttt. Hhahahahhahahaha!" Khyl burst out laughing in the middle of their cavalcade.

Joseph was confused and wondered why he laughed so loudly. He then asks, "Why are you laughing?"

Joseph thought he had become deaf, as he was still laughing while holding his stomach.

He asks again, "Are you deaf or something?"

Khyl caught his breath from laughing and said, "The way you wave your hands reminds me of pigeons who try to fly." He then burst out laughing again.

A few seconds later, Khyl stopped laughing, as he was catching his breath from too much joy. He then looked at his brother Joseph, who is now looking at him intensely.

Joseph's intense gaze made Khyl pause, wondering what was going through his brother's mind. Joseph's expression changed from confusion to mischief, and a mischievous grin spread across his face.

"Brother, if my hand movements remind you of pigeons trying to fly, then I challenge you to a hand-waving competition!" Joseph exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Khyl raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his brother's sudden challenge. "A hand-waving competition? Are you stupid?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Joseph quickly shakes his head in confusion and asks, "I am what?"

Khyl couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the challenge. "You sure are funny; you should go into the circus and play with the clowns. I'm sure you'll get along with them," Khyl says while laughing at his brother, who is now looking at him.

Joseph got irritated and said, "Well, at least I am not a coprolalia."

"What did you just say? You brainless shit?" Khyl said madly

Joseph smirked and said, "Oops, I didn't say who it was."

The two of them argued ferociously, but not until they passed the biggest fountain that is located in the middle of the kingdom.

"Well, see who's going to bleed sooner or later," Khyl said with a mixture of annoyance and insult.

Joseph saw a young girl wearing a blue dress passing through the alley carrying a plastic bag. He was about to argue back to his eldest brother when he remembered that their sister was missing...

He didn't hesitate to get off his horse. "Eldest brother, order them to stop for a while." Joseph got off his horse and shouted while running to where he saw the young girl.

"Where are you going?" Khyl shouted, seeing Joseph running towards an alley street.

Khyl was confused and wondering what his brother saw that made him get off his horse. He then orders the knights to stop for a while and wait for him to come back. He went to his father and informed him why they stopped.
