BACK TO THE PRESENT

King Albert spoke and said, "I think there's something wrong with this incident."

"I think so too, father. There is so much more about this," Prince Joseph said.

"How can we thank the man if we don't know where he came from or who he is?" Prince Jerome said.

Prince Khyl spoke and said, "Father, how about I go to every country to find the man who saved our sister?"

"But you don't even know what he really looked like," Queen Anne said.

Princess Scarlett said in authority, "I will go."

The three princes and the king and queen looked at the princess in disbelief.

"What!" King Albert said madly.

Princess Scarlett replied and said, "I will go and find him myself. I know him better." She was cut off.

"No, sister, I will not let you go," Prince Joseph said worriedly.

Princess Scarlett said, "But I know him much better than you."

"We are not letting you go again!" King Albert said in authority.

Princess Scarlett replied, "But I am the only person who knows him better; I know what he looks like."

"Sister, you have to listen to us; we cannot bear to see you in danger again," Prince Khyl said seriously.

Princess Scarlett stood up from her chair, put her right hand on her chest, and said, "I'll be careful next time, I promise," confidently.

Queen Anne spoke and said, "Scarlett, please understand the situation. It's not that we are not letting you go, but it's just dangerous for you to go outside. It was my fault for putting you in danger; it resulted in such a tragedy. I, as your mother, will not bear to see you in those situations again."

The princess was upset by what her mother said to her. Her tears are starting to fall. She looked down and remembered her brother, Jerome. She then looked at her brother Jerome while tears started to fall in her eyes. She saw that her brother, Jerome, was also saddened while looking at her.

"I'm sorry, sister; I wanted to help you, but..." Prince Jerome sighed and continued. "If this is for your own safety, then I am willing to stop you from going outside," Prince Jerome said while helplessly looking down.

After she heard what her brothers said to her, she started to cry. His brother and mother tried to calm her down, but she ran away from them. She left the king's table. Prince Jerome and Joseph followed her as she got out of them and was being watched by the maidservants in the hall. They were worried and curious as to why the princess had cried.

She didn't care what they would think of her. She ran from the castle halls towards her room. She saw her private maids on her way. They stopped her and asked...

Her personal maid, Flora, held her on both shoulders and said, "Princess, what happened? Why are you crying?"

Her personal maid, Melissa, said, "Princess, are you okay? Did someone hurt you?"

The princess didn't hear them at all; she just wanted to get her personal space. She got out of them and ran away toward her room.

Her personal maids called her and tried to stop her. When they heard...

"Let her be," Prince Jerome said.

"Your Highness, what happened? Flora asks curiously

Prince Joseph replied, "It was just a misunderstanding, so she ran away from the king's table."

The two maidservants look at each other and feel worried about the princess.

When Princess Scarlett arrived at her bedroom, she closed the door, laid down on her bed, and then she cried and cried. She feels like she wasn't listening to what she said; she feels unloved or untrusted. She covered her eyes with her pillows, and then she let out everything she felt.

A few hours later, the three princes came to the doorstep of their sister's room. They knocked on the door and said...

"Sister, let us in; we want to talk to you," Prince Jerome said.

The three princes went to her room because they were concerned and worried about their sister. They want to talk to her and make her understand what they actually feel for her. The other two princes were surprised that their eldest brother had come along.

Prince Joseph spoke and said, "Eldest Brother, why did you come with us?"

Prince Jerome stopped knocking for a while and said, "Yeah, I was also surprised that you came with us."

Prince Khyl frowned and replied, "Why do we have a problem with that?"

The two princes looked at each other. They know that he is not the type of person to be concerned about. But they are also glad that he came along; this proves to them that he cares for his sister.

Prince Khyl breathed out and said, "Just knock on the damn door. I wanted to talk to her."

He came because he couldn't just stand still and see his sister being confused, and he wanted to explain to her why he agreed to make her stay in the castle. All he wanted was her safety; he couldn't bear to lose his dearest sister, as she was the one who taught him 'How to be a good prince' inside and outside the castle.

The two princes sighed and knocked on the door again. They called their sister again and again, but no one answered.

Prince Jerome spoke and said, "I think she fell asleep."

"How about we give her some time and talk to her in the morning?" Prince Joseph suggested.

"How about I smack both your heads and talk to her the next day?" Prince Khyl said in irritation.

Prince Joseph replied, "Do you dare threaten me, your 'Highness'?" while taunting his eldest brother.

"What did you say, you brainless scum?" Prince Khyl said in authority.

"Shut up, you coprolalia," Prince Joseph replied in irritation.

Prince Jerome butted in and said, "Hey, the two of you watch your mouths. We didn't come here to fight; we came here to talk to our sister."

Prince Joseph came to his senses and replied, "Right, I forgot about that."

Prince Khyl breathed out and said, "Step aside, morons," while moving closer to the door. He knocked and said, "Sister, this is your eldest brother, Khyl. I wanted to talk to you, so open the door," in a serious tone.

No one answered on the other side of the door, and no sound could be heard. The two princes sighed.

"Told you she fell asleep," Prince Jerome said.

"Eldest brother, I think we should probably let her rest for now," Prince Joseph said while tapping his eldest brother's shoulder.
