Nineteen: Kyle And Ice Cream

Elise's POV

The next day, I was hanging out with the girls at Matt and Val's house while the guys were at the studio. We were playing around with their Wii, playing different games that they owned. Matt claimed that the Wii was really Val's because he 'prefers' playing with a controller that has nothing to do with motion, but I've caught him playing by himself before and he loves it. The game that we really all settled on was Just Dance, but Grace refused to play because she claimed she couldn't dance.

"Come on, Grace, it's fun!!" Val tried to convince her. 

"I'm not playing." She said, sounding determined. 

"I promise once you start you'll love it." I said, but she shook her head. "Would you do it for Zacky?" I asked.

"No." She answered, and then I saw her really think about it, and knew that was a lie but the expression that took over. "....Yes." She changed her answer.

"So then you should do it for me too because I'm your bestest friend!" I batted my eyelashes at her innocently. Grace glared at me, and I just kept batting my eyelashes and smiling. 

"Besides, it doesn't matter if you can't dance, you just follow the movements on screen." Lacey pointed out, and I nodded in agreement. 

"Here, you go in for me. I'll take Kyle." Val said, going and sitting down. She picked Kyle up out of Grace's lap and gave Grace a head movement, urging her to try the game as she handed the controller to her. Grace sighed and got up from the couch, standing in the spot Val was just in. I turned my head back to look at her, and grinned. 

"You pick the song." I told her.

"Fiiine." She grumbled as she started looking through the song selection. She picked one, and then we got ready to dance. 

As the dance went on, I could tell that she was starting to have fun with it as she moved with the figure she was following. She forgot about not being able to dance and let go, just relaxing and going with it. This was personally one of my favorite games because it was just really fun, especially when you're playing with friends. 

We did a few more dances, and then we all just ended up laughing at the end of one, unable to go on. Suddenly I felt arms around my waist, coming from behind me, and I spun around to see Jimmy grinning happily at me. 

"Hey!" I hugged him tightly, noticing that the others were here too. They must've just come back from the studio now.

"Having fun?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I laughed. "Yeah, we were just getting Grace to play with us and show her how fun it is." 

"Ah, I see." He said before he brought his head down and pressed his lips to mine. I smiled against the kiss, and when we broke away, he kept me close to him. 

Matt came over with Kyle in his arms, and I greeted him as he approached us. "Hey Mattie."

"Hey, there's something I wanted to ask you, or both of you." He looked between Jimmy and I. I nodded to tell him to continue, and he asked, "Would you mind watching Kyle tomorrow? I want to take Val out, because we haven't in a while, not with time to ourselves anyway." 

"I'd love to take him." I grinned, and looked up at Jimmy. "You don't mind, right?"

He smiled back. "Nah, I have no problem with watching the little rugrat."

Matt smiled. "Thanks guys. I'll bring him around ten tomorrow, with his stuff. We'll be back for him around maybe two." 

"Ok, cool. So we'll see you then." I said, and he nodded.
