Jimmy's POV

I straightened my tie and then studied myself in the mirror, smiling as I looked myself over. Today was the day that I marry my best friend, my lover, and my soul mate. I was so happy that it was most likely ridiculous, but I didn't care. Butterflies flew around in the pit of my stomach, both excited and nervous. I feel like I've been waiting for this day for a thousand years.

Earlier in the week, Elise and I went back to the doctor's to find out the genders of our two babies, and found out that they were both boys. Their names would be Aaron Matthew and Liam James Sullivan. Elise came up with the middle name for Liam, and when she'd told me, it made me feel really special.

Last night, I stayed with the guys here at Brian's, and Elise went to stay with the girls over at Grace's. This was their plan so that we couldn't secretly see each other before the wedding because I'm not supposed to see her in her dress until the wedding. Well, they do know us pretty well, we probably would fuck that rule and meet up without them knowing. They're not even going to let us talk to each other over the phone, which I think is ridiculous, and I'm going to see if I can't sneak in a call. I missed her, even being away from her for a night makes me feel lonely.

Peeking into the hall to make sure none of the guys were coming, as they were all getting ready throughout the house, I snuck downstairs and crept through the kitchen to the back door, slipping outside onto the deck with my phone already in hand. I hit the speed dial for Elise, and waited as the phone rang.

On the second ring, she picked up. "You rule breaker, you!" She accused teasingly.

"You could've ignored it." I smirked.

"That would be awfully rude, wouldn't it?" She said innocently.

"Since when do you care if you're being rude or not?" I asked, and she laughed. "How are you not surrounded by the girls right now? I thought they'd be all over you wanting to do your make up and shit."

"Oh, they already did. Now they're getting dressed and doing their own make up, so I'm currently unsupervised." She explained.

"Ah, we got lucky then, the guys are still upstairs getting ready too. But, I have to tell you, you look beautiful." I replied.

"How would you know? You can't even see me." She teased.

"That's easy. You always look beautiful, so what makes you think today would be any different? Especially today, when I know you look especially beautiful." I grinned.

"Well then I must confess... you do look particularly handsome today as you always do."

"Pssht, please, I'm a sexy motherfucker in this tuxedo!" I joked, and I heard her laugh. On a more serious note, I said, "I can't wait to see you, I'm so excited!"

"I'm excited too, Jimbo, I can't seem to keep myself still." The excitement sprang into her voice and shot through the phone into me, feeding my own excitement. I quickly pulled the phone away from my ear to look at the time and noticed that at about any moment, the guys would come downstairs to leave for the church. Elise must've noticed that we were running out of time too, because just as I was about to tell her I had to go, she said,

"Well, I've gotta go. You see, I'm marrying my best friend today and I can't be late." I could hear the smirk in her voice.

Playing along, I said, "Do you love him?"

Softly, she responded, "With all my heart." I smiled to myself, feeling a blush heat my cheeks. We said a quick goodbye and then hung up, and I spun around to go back inside, only to see Matt standing behind me. He had a smirk on his face, his arms crossed over his chest.
