Jimmy's POV

"Those are the only two bags you had?" I asked Aubree as I came back inside.

"Yeah, that's it." She replied as she pulled on her coat. She was going away for her job as a journalist for three days, which meant I would be with Elise for three days, but she didn't know that, now did she? I could tell that she was a little hesitant about leaving, I'm pretty sure she doesn't trust me on my own because of Elise. She had no idea how ironic that was, but I don't feel even the tiniest bit guilty. If I were cheating on her with anybody else, then I probably would feel bad, but that's not the case.

I haven't really gotten the chance to look into it a whole lot, but I have noticed there is a little bit of an unususal decrease in my bank account. It wasn't too bad, maybe a couple hundred, but it was still a loss on my part that I didn't know I was losing. That would explain some of these trips to the mall that have been going on, and returning with like, fifty million bags. I didn't know she was costing me as much as she was though. I trusted that she new her limits and now I'm not so sure. But, while she was gone I planned to look further in and figure out just what in the hell was going on. Maybe by the time she gets back I'll have enough proof that she is stealing from me to get my ring back.

But the best part about this three day trip of hers was that I could be with Elise for a whole three days and not have to sneak around her. Of course, we'd still have to be aware of the others, but I could always cover it up as I was away somewhere if they tried to go to my house and find I'm not there. But usually they text me before coming over unless it's extremely urgent, so I shouldn't have to worry. If it's urgent, well then whoever needs me or is hurt is gonna have to suck it up.

"Alright, so I'll see you in three days." I tried not to sound eager so she wouldn't get suspicious, but it was really hard.

"Three days." She repeated with kind of a nervous smile. "I'll call every night before bed." She reminded me, which I'd forgotten about, but it wouldn't be a problem. I nodded in response.

"Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll do great." I grinned and leaned down to kiss her goodbye. That seemed to make her relax a little bit, and she smiled back at me and said goodbye before going out to the car, where I'd put her bags in the trunk for her.

I watched her go to the driver's seat and open the door, putting the handbag she had in the passenger's seat before climbing in and shutting the door behind her. The car started up, and soon she was backing out of the driveway, and waved as she turned out into the street. I waved back and her car acclerated forward down the road.

I watched until the car was out of sight and I was sure that she was gone before closing the door and going upstairs happily. I'd already packed my backpack yesterday while she'd been at work, and hid it in my side of the closet. She didn't know a thing.

Slinging the bag over my shoulder, I went back downstairs and out the door, locking it behind me. I just walked four houses down, because it would seem kind of weird if my car was in Elise's driveway for three days straight, so I had put in the garage prior to today so it was out of sight. My garage door doesn't have windows, so it's not like anyone could look in and see my car, and the garage side door is locked as well.

When I got to Elise's house, I knocked on the door and waited eagerly, hearing Bella's bark. Not long after, Bella's barking stopped and I heard her retreat to elsewhere in the house. The door swung open and a wide smile covered her face, and I had a smile to match. We didn't have to greet each other, I just stepped inside, dropped my backpack down on the floor after closing the door behind me. I pushed her up against the wall gently, and brought my head down, pressing my lips to hers as my greeting.
