Michelle's POV:

"Deedee, we called because we wanted to tell you that you were so good! You were sizzling hot and elegantly stunning during the prelims. We were screaming so loud here in Janina's condo! I quickly lowered the volume because Samantha's voice was too loud. I turned to look at Anntonia and felt relieved that she was still sleeping peacefully.

It's 2 a.m., but she only slept at 1 a.m. We watched Mulan, and this woman kept on crying because she mentioned that she loves the song so much.

"Thank you, girls. You guys are my greatest cheerleaders," I responded.

"And because of that..."

I creased my forehead when Janina suddenly pulled out a guitar, and Samantha was now holding a hairbrush, acting like it was a microphone.

"We prepared a song number for you," Samantha said with her most serious tone. So even though I wanted to tease them about how crazy they look, I kept it to myself and let them do whatever they are planning to do.

Janina started strumming the guitar with normal keys until she started playing the chords. It sounds familiar.

"Channeling my inner Niki because the universe used me as an instrument to, you know, be the pusher--"

"Huy, SamPan! Ayusin mo naman!" Katrina suddenly butted in, even though she's not on the screen.

"Bakit ba! Basher naman."

I just facepalmed myself because, again, this has been so normal. Samantha, being the crackhead that she is, of course, she can't be serious for a long period of time.

"Tama nga naman. Bagay naman sakaniya."

"Janina, team tayo ha? Naiinis ako sa'yo. Puputulin ko 'tong brush mo."

"You guys are so chaotic," I said to remind them that I am still here. They're just messing around with one another, fully forgetting that they're on call with me.

"Ay sorry po. Anyways, I was just saying that fate wanted me to be the captain, and it's whispering to me that I should sing this song to you," Samantha playfully said and wiggled her eyebrows.

I just raised my eyebrows to give them the go-signal to start because they are taking forever.

Janina started to play the guitar again. I slightly raised the volume to hear it better. It took me a few more seconds before realizing what song it was.

Take a chance with me.

"In the end, we only regret
The chances we didn't take.
I'll be your safety net,
So why not raise the stakes?
I can hear your heart from across the room..." She stopped singing and covered her mouth. "Aaaaah! This song literally fits the two of you!"

"You're at it again." I shook my head and just smiled at their cute antics.

"Wala man lang talagang comment?" Samantha crossed her arms and pouted, acting grumpy.

"Hindi bagay sa'yo." I was quick to tease her.

Samantha dramatically held her chest, and Janina was clapping her hands out of satisfaction.

"Payag ka nun? Tapos pag kay ano, cute raw." Janina said while facing Samantha.

"Parang hindi friend, 'no? Grabe mambara. Ayan ba si MMD na kinakabaklaan ng mga tao?"

"May favoritism, Sam."

"Grabe! Three years nang may favoritism!"

"Sige, magkampihan kayo ni Janina. Magsama kayo."
