Anntonia's POV:We are now in the studio for our first day of the media tour in Mexico. We were at the backstage because we were given ten minutes of a break before continuing rolling.
I was just standing here, checking on Michelle, who was not feeling well. I noticed it since earlier morning that she looks pale and seems drained. Thankfully, the staff let her sit, so I was just waiting for her to ask for something so I could help.
The girls were also busy talking to their road managers, fixing their makeup, and scrolling through their phones. Everyone is equally occupied with what they're doing.
"Anntonia," Michelle called. I immediately looked at her and raised my brows to inform her that I was listening. "Why don't you sit down here? Your feet might hurt."
"No. I'm good. Do you want something?"
"I want you to sit. You're wearing high heels pa naman, oh." Michelle insisted. I waved my hand at her to refuse. "Hay nako... Pag sumakit nga talaga paa mo." She said worryingly. I didn't understand, but I assume it has something to do with me not following her request.
"Are you sure you don't want anything? Foods? Drinks? Medicines?"
"Anntonia, I'm alright. I just have to rest for a while then I am good to work."
"Pft. It's essential not to overwork your body, don't you know that?" I said. See, I know she's a passionate woman and loves being busy, but my soul could never be peaceful when I see her health at risk because of tiredness and fatigue.
"I love what I'm doing naman eh." She pouted. I just shook my head and looked around to observe the busy setting of the studio.
I felt a hand touch mine, so I looked at her. She was soothing my hands and looking at me so softly.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" I ask in confusion. I really don't know what she's sorry for. "Is it because you really want to work? I don't mind. I know no one can stop you since this is what you want. Just tell us whenever you can't take it anymore, okay?"
I felt a hint of an unknown feeling that made my stomach turn when an emotion that I can't pinpoint crossed her eyes, and she was just silent. But I shrugged it off and thought that she's just unwell.
She was still holding my hand, unbothered by the people around us that might put maliciousness on what they see from us.
We remained silent and waited for the staff to call us for the photo ops. When they do, I assisted Michelle so that she wouldn't shock her body even more. We went to the platform and waited for Miss Anne and the hosts to join us.
I was just holding Michelle's waist the entire minute because she was losing her balance a bit whenever she stands.
"Dee, you're dizzy." I whispered, trying not to let the others know because Michelle seems like she really wants to finish this activity.
"I'm good."
"You're clearly not. Should I ask them to bring you back to the hotel?"
"Anntonia," Michelle said. My heart hurt a bit when she sounded like she's frustrated. "I am okay."
"Ah, alright."
I was trying to understand her situation, but I am sure that I was affected by how she talks to me. Gone was the Dee that used to be so soft-spoken for me at all times.
But then again, maybe I was just needy, and she's unwell to maintain that energy.
I wanted to stay beside her, but when she removed her hands from my waist and got busy talking to her manager, who seems like discussing something important, I looked around to stop myself from getting overly sensitive and emotional. My eyes landed on Fabienne, who was looking at me with so much worry in her eyes.
