Kitana: Would you like to take a look at my memories as well?
Melyssa: Liu warned of trials last time.
Isabelle: Pretty vague for a half-truth.
Kitana: He does have a tendency to be elusive. How about this; if there are any memories which cause you discomfort, squeeze my hands. We can always come back later. *lays out her hands*
[Melyssa reluctantly places her sensors on Kitana's palms, and closes her front eye. The first memory comes in a wave; Kitana confronts Liu in a garden, they fight, and Liu has won. Kitana falls to her knees, telling Liu he must kill her, he refuses, says the encounter never happened.]
Melyssa: *sighs, mutters* Mercy. *inhales, continues the memory*
[Another memory wave; Kitana is in a Kollessium, she refuses to deal the final blow to her opponent, her stepfather is irritated. She later confronts him about a certain sorcerer making a clone of her, with jagged teeth. He praises the sorcerer, then outcasts her.]
Melyssa: *grits her jaws* They called him Khan? *exhales, then continues*
[A wave of red temporarily clouds Melyssa's vision. The stepfather, Shao, has restrained Kitana on her knees in a ship filled with Outworld soldiers. He accuses her of treason. Kitana glances at her mother, Sindel, who does not respond. Melyssa sinks her claws into Kitana's wrists, the memory fades.]
Melyssa: *gasps, opens her eye, brings her hands to her jaws, whispers* "Imogen Heap, Hide And Seek."
Melyssa: *as soon as the image fades, her kneels, and embraces the Titan Kitana* Life change, cast aside.
[Unknowingly to them, Liu brought over Titan resembling Sindel; long, white hair, streak of black, purple armor, and white eyes similar to Liu's. The new Titan is overwhelmed with guilt.]

Isabelle: On a brighter note, here is Sniffles.
Himiko: Nyeh, a puppy!
Isabelle: *sets Sniffles on the ground* You mind watching her for a bit? She can be your familiar.
Himiko: Yes. Thank you. *hugs Sniffles*
