When you slam the door and shout
Don't tell me I'm clingy
When I'm mad that you went out
Don't tell me I am crazy
When I know right where you were
Don't tell me she's just friendly
When you still bear marks from her
Don't tell me I am wrong
When you keep on denying
Don't tell me to forget it
When pictures prove the lying
Don't tell me that you'll change
When you've shown me that you don't
Don't tell me you'll be better
When you've proven that you won't
Don't tell me I'm your love
When we both know that's just words
And don't tell me you need me
Like somehow that makes me yours
