Tell me all about your love
The one you hold closest to you
And I'll tell you what you should know
What I have found is often true
They say that love cannot be bought
That it just does not work that way
And many would agree with this
But to that statement I will say
Yes love cannot be bought by jewels
Or by fine roses, pearls, or gold
It is not bought so easily
It is not something so controlled
But anyone you ask too knows
That money also equals time
So now I reach my final point—
It's bound up in a single rhyme—
If you love someone very much
Then maybe ask yourself today
If they want something that's store bought,
Or maybe just the time of day
