She's a
songbird
who
doesn't sing.
Her wings are
broken.
Where to fly?
So
she
keeps
her beak
closed
until
all others
are asleep
or have their
ears full of sound,
then lets the
world hear
what she's afraid
to tell:
Music, and the world
around
if she could
heal.
