It's too easy to stay angry,
and I should move on-
but when I think
of you,
and what you
put me through,
I see red
tainting my vision.
I should overcome,
and be bigger than this,
than you,
but my heart is small
enough to freeze
quickly
and leave ice
through my veins.
Call it needless,
a grudge that won't
go away,
but
you ran
my patience
thin.
It's harder now to
forgive.
