Morgan's POV
"What if I fall on the way."
"You would look pretty stupid." Kaden said.
"Very stupid, but I would have it on camera so your embarrassment would be so worth it." Jason laughed and showed me the camera he had inside his blazer.
"A camera? Dude you can just use your phone." Kaden looked at him in a 'are you dumb' way.
"I like to keep it old school, I am a man of culture. Sorry that you are an iPad kid." He gave a once over to Kaden.
"I'm not a fucking iPad kid, besides we are the same age you fucking clown." She glared at him.
"Okay can we talk about me?!" I said gaining back their attention.
Kaden gave me a bored look, "It's your wedding day what more attention do you want?"
"Back me up here guys, what if Hayley doesn't show up?" I was mortified by the thought, even though I was confident that she will appear the anxiety still lingered.
"Her loss because who in their right mind would marry her... besides you, but you have never been in your right mind anyway." Kaden laughed and I saw Jason holding in a laughter.
"I'm going to beat you—"
I was cut off by the door opening, "Morgan everything is ready out here, are you?" It was my dad with Michael waiting behind him.
I dried up my hands and nodded. "I'm ready. You two be good bridesmaid and groomsmen and go."
"Try not to fall." Jason patted my shoulder as he walked past me.
"Good luck Mor, you'll need it." Kaden chuckled and walked out with Jason and Michael who was waiting for them.
Leaving just my dad and I.
"You look beautiful, I'm surprised you settled on a dress." He said with a smile and watery eyes.
"I think I look hot with a dress, so why not? Are you going to cry?"
He chuckled and wiped his eyes, "You were just a baby yesterday who had a hard time walking with stability and look at you now, you are getting married. You are all grown up."
"Oh dad please don't make me cry, my makeup shit." I said blinking too many times.
"With a very bad language still." He extended his arm towards me. "Let's go get you married."
I grabbed it with a smile etched on my face, "Let's."
We walked outside and when it was time to walk down the aisle I felt my heart on my throat, but a reassuring squeeze from my dad, the sight of my mom smiling in the crowd and Matty as the flower boy with another cousin of ours.
Kaden, Jason and Michael as my bridesmaid and best men at the same time and Norah, Dana and Monique as Hayley's bridesmaids all of it gave me the courage I needed.
I was the first on the aisle, my dad would give me and then go back in to walk Hayley as well—she had asked for him to do it and to say he cried when she did.
Age has turned him into a big softie.
The moment I saw her walk down the aisle I felt like time froze and just like that it was like falling in love all over again with Hayley. I couldn't believe this was happening, that this was my life right now.
That I was marrying Hayley.
I'm marrying Hayley Duvall... talk to me about life surprises.
When my dad handed her to me he gave us both a smile before walking away.
