I gasped and sat up quickly as my processor came back online.

'Easy, Radio' My sire's voice said next to me and I felt him rubbing my back, 'Are you alright?' I reached around frantically and grabbed his servo before I even turned my helm. His bigger one almost completely enveloped mine.

'How long-?' I choked out, looking at him before gasping. One entire side of his visor and mask were gone, exposing his face and energon stained his sides and neck, showing how badly damaged his back was.

'You were only out a few minutes, enough time for us to run and get inside the fortress,' He said, reaching up and rubbing my helm, 'And don't worry about me. I've survived worse.'

At the mention of injuries, I suddenly became aware of the pain in my shoulder. I couldn't help but groan and curl up slightly, my one servo going up and trying to feel my wing.

'It was blown off,' Ravage said from next to me, 'The entire right one. Luckily most of the bleeding seems to have stopped. But knowing how sensitive your wings are, it's probably going to hurt for a while.'

'I know,' I said through gritted teeth but then noticed something else. Skyraid was still on my chassis but, 'Where's Remix?!'

'Over here,' The wolf said, lying not too far away from me. His back had been scorched and the plating had melted. I scrambled over to and sat next to him, gently patting his helm.

'He took some of the brunt for you,' Skyraid clicked, 'You probably would have been in a worse condition if he didn't.'

'Oh, my poor boy,' I said, leaning down and hugging him, 'I'm so sorry.' He gave a low reassuring whine and licked my face. Seeing he was ok, I looked up and around, 'How's everyone else?'

'No ones uninjured, let's just put it that way,' Chromedome said, standing behind me, 'Luckily for us, the squadron did their damage and left just as we made it into the fortress.'

'Thank goodness,' I sighed and tried to find the familiar bot, 'Where is Censere? Shouldn't he be around here?' I asked.

They went silent around me and I felt my spark drop to my tanks, 'Domey? Where's Censere?' He didn't look up at me but just pointed.

'No,' I whispered, looking at the body on the floor. 'They got to him before we made it here.' Laserbeak said quietly.

The Necrobot was lying on the floor, his limbs and wrecked frame sprawled out, his cape in tatters and lying in a pool of energon. The most frightening part was definitely the fact some of the blue flowers he used to mark the dead seemed to be placed on and growing out of him.

Both servos covered my mouth and I felt tears prickling my optics. Soundwave picked me up and brought me onto his lap, hugging me tightly and turning his frame so I couldn't see Censere's body. 'Shh, don't look,' He whispered, stroking the back of my helm as I let out a small sob.

'We're not sure whether he was shot to death or if the raw energon in the flowers fried his circuits,' I heard Velocity say.

I looked over at Nightbeat who was talking to Skids, speaking about how he'd forged a bit of a bond with the now dead bot. Night seemed to be taking it better than I expected, just asking for Brainstorm.

'May I borrow him for a second?' Megatron asked and came over to us, pointing down at Ravage, 'One of the ships crashed nearby so it would be good to check it out. It may help us find who did this.'

Soundwave nodded and rubbed the Panther, 'The moment you sense danger, get out of there and come right back.' He instructed, 'And keep your bond with me open at all times.' Ravage gave him a grin, 'They'll have to find me before they can get me.' He said before running out to the door.
