‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Heaven and I will always have an endgame. Or something in-between. Not friends, and not long-forgotten lovers as well. Heaven is my soulmate. The only one worth everything in this world.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ This young woman changed my life. Our love story is the most painful one I've ever had. Tough. Toxic. Full of sparks and excitement.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Also, full of suffering. Tears. Broken hearts.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ And here I am, tucked between her tights, in the most beautiful spot I could possibly be at this moment. I spent so much time wondering what may have happened differently, and how it would have affected our lives together.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ What if we were not so wild? What if we stopped looking for the lust for life?

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ I always wondered how our relationship would look, if we weren't who we are.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "No... Stop that," she said, tapping my head as she observed me zooning out.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Sorry, bunny," I said right immediately. Her hands moved around my neck, gently stroking me wherever she could reach.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "C'mere," she said, drawing me into her arms.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ I pulled myself higher, allowing barely half of my weight to rest on her delicate body. She hugged me immediately, stroking my cheek with her nose and softly booping me. I smiled at her, feeling happy.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You know..." she began speaking. Something in her voice revealed that she was afraid to continue the conversation.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Know what, bunny?" My expression became more serious than it had before she began speaking.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "It's time for a playdate with our kids. You know, we need to work with them and do our thing here," she said, biting her lip before returning her gaze to me.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ I chuckled at this point. Relieved and grateful it wasn't anything more serious. "Is that so?" I kissed her cheek.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Mhmm," she said, enjoying the moment. As much as I love her, I will cherish those moments with her. I wish I could stop time and hold her in my arms forever.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You're so beautiful, Heaven," my eyes were sincerely pleased by the view before me.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "So beautiful..." I said again.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I love you Matthew," my heart stopped beating for a moment.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "What was that?" I asked her, perplexed.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "What was what?" she asked, acting wild.
I just stared at her. "Bunny!"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ She said "Matthew!" with a fun expression. She didn't want to tell me what was going on.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You heard it"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You love me?" I mean, I have loved her ever since the night I met her. She was the right person. It's for me.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ She giggled. "Yes, and what now?"
I couldn't help but giggle at her attempt to appear calm. "I'll marry you"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I know" she whispered. "I will say yes to you" And, unexpectedly, we got back together.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Every day, we prioritize on growing our relationship and bringing both of our children together in the same room to educate them how adults make mistakes. Our first mistake was not talking more significant topics, which only caused more problems.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The second was a failure to learn how to forgive and stay together. But now that we're striving to be a normal family, everything feels better. Normal. Calmer. My little bunny grew so much throughout those few months.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ She became my ride or die.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ To you, Heaven June Gubler, who made me a better man. Happiest husband and father.
